Tokyo Police Club - Champ - VINYL LP

The band's classic second album, newly reissued on baby blue vinyl and blue & white wave vinyl! As it's name suggests, Champ is a triumph - an album of taut catchy anthems that display a vigour and fizz and from the Toronto four piece. Stand out songs include the electronic pop of InchBambi,Inch the curiously titled duo InchFavourite FoodsInch and InchFavourite ColourInch and the urgently anthemic InchWait Up (Boots of Danger).Inch Again Dave Monk's lyrics are a real highlight with strikingly juxtaposed imagery - Inchthe killer with the coloured kite,Inch Inchthe national child star in a coat and a scarf, alone in the laundromat.Inch Ultimately, though it's the fizz bomb youthful energy of the songs that appeals most.Favourite FoodFavourite ColourBreakneck SpeedWait Up (Boots of Danger)BambiEnd of a SparkHands ReversedGoneBig DifferenceNot SickFrankenstein
