Banana Peel Vinyl. Nearly seven years since their debut seven inch , Tone Scientists are back with the five song InchKiiroi ToriInch EP. The project joins Mike Watt and Bucky Pope, the latter of whom assumes the producer role this time around, with drummer John Herndon of Tortoise and two longtime Watt collaborators, flute/sax player Vince Meghrouni and keyboard player Pete Mazich. Like their first , the EP includes an ambitious Sun Ra cover, with their distinctive take on InchThe Sun OneInch, along with four tunes penned by Watt and Pope.The will be available on two limited 12Inch vinyl pressings, one black and another on yellow swirl vinyl, as well as digital formats.
