Ben Zobrist, who provided a clutch, go-ahead double in the top of the 10th inning which helped the Chicago Cubs secure their first World Series title since 1908, was named MVP of the series shortly after the game ended. Zobrist impressively slashed .357/.419/.500 over the course of the seven-game series, to help the Cubs capture their first World Series title since 1908.
