Read speeds reach 6X for BD-ROM, 8X for DVD-ROM, and 24X for CD-ROM. Simply connect the drive via the included USB 3.0 cable, and your computer recognizes it instantly. Works out of the box with Windows XP/7/8/10/11 and macOS. For desktop computers, plug into a rear USB port for sufficient power – front panel USB ports may be underpowered. Do not use extension cables or USB hubs. The included power cable ensures stable operation when needed.
Read and play both single-layer BD25 (25GB) and dual-layer BD50 (50GB) Blu-ray discs. The drive also supports 3D Blu-ray movie playback for an immersive viewing experience. Note: Playing Blu-ray movies requires compatible playback software (not included) such as CyberLink PowerDVD, Nero, Aiseesoft, VLC, or RealPlayer.
