A: No, this is not a smart TV.
A: 4k is a higher, and theoretically better, resolution than 1080. HOWEVER, for a TV of only 55 inch the human eye cannot perceive the difference between the two, unless you sat ridiculously close to the screen. 4k becomes somewhat useful on TVs 70 inches and up.

A: I replaced my 73inch tv with this 55inch tv. I searched on line and just hoped for the best. Well this tv makes my 73 inch look like a toy! The picture is 10 times sharper than my 73 inch. From the first time we turned the tv on everyone first words was wow look how sharp and clear the picture is and on certain movies it looks like a 3D effect no joke. It has only been a month but we are loving this tv! The price was crazy good and they removed my huge 73inch tv! This tv is a quick 5 min setup all you have to do is add the feet!.
