After getting some new games, I realized I had run out of room for storage on my Wii U. I found this product which had a good amount of space to load games and such. I had to buy a USB Y cable separately to plug it into the Wii U console, but that wasn't a very big deal. It added a lot of capacity for the system, and was very easy to set up. Just plug it into the Wii U, go to the System options > Data Management and choose to format a new storage device. Easy!

couldnt beat the price on this EHD I love it! Freed up the space I needed and couldnt be happier! The most important feature was the portability as well and the capacity!

This hard drive is perfect for my little laptop. I needed lightweight portable storage but I don't need 2tb of space. This is the perfect size for my needs

Don't ever use that for any video game system. It'll ruin your save data when transferring. Not a good choice.

I got frustrated that after I move some game data to hard drive, as my brother played it, the hard drive shuts down the Wii U for "removing the USB cord". Not worth it for any game system.
