Spacing is perfect for the Treager grate, as you would expect it to be. Best used while grate is still hot. The wood does not scratch off ceramic coating on grates and does not remove seasoning. At first I thought it was a bit small, but after using it is easily maneuverable and not cumbersome as a larger one would be. No more wire brushes on my grills!!

For the discerning grill master who finds metal bristles too advanced and a damp rag too primitive, behold the Wooden Grill Scrape—a premium slab of wood designed to heroically battle stubborn grill gunk. But don’t be fooled—this isn’t just any old piece of wood you could, say, find in your garage. No, no. This is a Traeger-certified piece of wood, precision-engineered to develop a custom fit to your grill grates over time. Yes, you heard that right—this stick learns your grill. It forms grooves, adapts to your needs, and maybe, just maybe, develops a personality along the way. Would a random chunk of wood work just as well? Probably. But would it have the prestige, the aura of a name-brand grill scrape? Absolutely not. In summary, if you’ve ever dreamed of wielding a premium, responsibly sourced, artisanally cut wooden plank to clean your grill, congratulations—your moment has arrived.Would definitely purchase again when this one meets its noble, charred demise.
