This microwave has many useful features perfect for those with busy life, my favorite are defrosting and griller ingredients, the forward opening help to hold eventual dropping food, and the looks protect our little one to use it unsupervised. Also the material inside is super easy to clean. It is just amazing it is the best to buy!

This is one of the steel made trim kit. I looked into other custom made options, but were rather expensive. Got it trimmed to 27 inch by local sheet metal guy and painted with metallic stainless steel paint (rustoleum). Looks fabulous.

I haven't installed it yet, but it seems easy to install it. too bad it doesn't come in black stainless to match the oven.

My built in microwave with this trim kit looks awesome. The installation instructions included a template but otherwise we're not that helpful. Not a difficult install if you are handy.

Only the actual visible trim piece is the only 1 that fits my microwave's setup space.

It isn’t the easiest to install and I don’t feel like it looks as good as our old trim kit with our old microwave did, but it does the job. Plus if you have stainless appliances (we do) the microwave that we got only comes in black so it makes it appear like it is more a stainless steal oven and the inside is black glass

So far so good unit looks exactly how it was described. Didn't install yet still updating Kitchen. Would definitely recommend to a family or friend.

There are at least 2 different variant of the same model MC12J8035CT sold in the market. This trim kit does not all the variants. One of the MC12J8035CT has 4 additional screw locations designed to be used with this trim kit. Unfortunately, there is no documentation that differentiate the PowerGrill that can accept this Trim Kit and which one is not. They have the same model number but are different.
