Easy and great value for family. Can have hidden costs if something unique comes up that needs a different form.

I have used the product for many years. Each year it gets a little harder to use and harder to find answers to questions on use. It also requires re-entry of information which is redundant because it can and does load info from prior year (most of the time). Although the marketing material has a lot of hype - this product is depending heavily on users to provide support to others (cuts their support costs) and in addition wants you to use FAQ and Search on message boards - which contain many years worth of questions - many of which are no longer applicable or relevant - adding to the loss of validity for that as a useful vehicle. That said - so far - it works - and I will use it again. If you are a first time user, I suggest you try a couple of these products (from other than Intuit) and compare how they work and if they fit you. One of the best features of this product is that it allows you to jump to the real forms - which is very important given the lack of info in the guided Q and A they use to complete the return. many times we have had to read the forms and read IRS docs to get to the right answer inside this program. If you have VERY simple returns and are very main stream and center of the road - this tool is great. We use the home and business version because several of us do 1099NEC work, some investments and other tax impactful activities.

If you are doing your own taxes this is a great way to go.

Turbo Tax makes it really easy to do my taxes. Finds all the refunds due to me.

We've used Turbotax for several years. Very user friendly, especially for a non tech person like myself. Used the download version this year rather than the CD-rom. The installation was easy. Will be buying and using this for the foreseeable future.

It's fine but better to buy one with a removeable disk. Then, you can use it in different computers. Not easy to access in the Cloud on a different computer, if fact haven't been able to do it at all. I installed on an older computer and wanted to use on new one, but not to be,.....

There is no other software out there like turbotax, its easy to use and take care of everything you need to file your tax. I just import my last year tax and everything is ready to go for me. Very simple to use.

Have been using for many years, and it has worked well. I have my own business, and it works well with quicken, which makes it easy to categorize everything.
