These lights are designed very well. The strands are not end to end plugs though.. so no continuous runs.. however.. these lights are best if used in a group closer together. You can think of them like individual pixels. The more you have close together.. the more awesome things you can create using the constantly improving app and firmware updates. You can download twinkly pre made effects or create your own effects and loop them as if your making a short effects movie. They are RGBW so.. Each bulb is capable of any color y want as well as a dedicated brilliant white. Not all models are rgbw .. Most are only RGB and create a decent white by combining all three colors.. Note.. in my experience with other rgb products.. creating this mixed white color uses the most amount of power and can shorten the life. Not sure if it applies to Twinkly. All in All.. the possibilities are almost endless.. and having 6 or 7 different light sets setup in close proximity and then synced together through the app.. will give your audience a somewhat cinematic experience that most have not seen in a residential setting. Your sure to be the coolest display on your street.

If you have the right spot, these are amazing! I have a large front window and they provide amazing lighting and special effects for parties and holidays. In the photo, the curtain is the front window, and the clusters along the roof line. The patterns are particularly visible because of the density of the lights, and the large amount of vertical and horizontal coverage. Definitely the funnest lights I own.

Nice christmas lights but to expensive for the amount of lights that comes, they easy to set up if you follow instructions, I didn't have any issues using android, they very bright and fun, but pricing that's another thing, if you are willing to pay the price then I do recommend to buy then, other than that I love them, I put them on my window.

I love the ease and amazing design options for these lights. I use them for every holiday and during summer.

Great quality product, easy to install and set up. The app is also very easy to learn and navigate. I definitely recommend them. You can change the colors to fit any occasion or holiday as well as set patterns just as a decoration.

Twinkly makes great light sets. I had purchased the 600 strings and created a board to make my own light decorations (each light can be programmed). It is a bit cumbersome but the affects are awesome. They also include many preprogrammed affects. The curtain was a great addition since it is already in a row and column pattern - no work to create, just hang.

Very cool lights! Can be used for all occasions not just for Christmas.

I was afraid of the price on what looked like over-engineered Christmas tree lights, but my wife was eager to give our tree a makeover, and since we're both tech nerds, it wasn't that hard to convince me. The product is much better than I expected -- lots of flexibility, easy smartphone control, and simple to install as holiday lights go. We liked it so much, we skipped the ornaments this year; if there's any downside, it can make your tree look junky and crowded with animated lights AND a ton of gewgaws. I'd be happy to just appreciate the lights every year and leave off the bits of glass and plastic -- they're that pretty.

It was a good try. The light was well made and the design was festive but my window was way too short for the light. Otherwise, I would keep it.

Twinkly brand lights are gorgeous and professional looking when applied with some forethought. The app is easy to use. They work best for creating scultpures or wrapping trees. Using them as a string on the house has limited functionality (but they look cool!) Just pricey

Really fun lights. They make a great statement. I like that you can change colors and animations so you could use them for any holiday or event. Only wish they were a bit cheaper.

I love these lights. Put this 600 bulb string on one tree and it looked spectacular! There are a lot of preconfigured patterns to choose from and you can edit the color combos and even the timings on some. With the app (which is available only for iOS) you can map the locations of every bulb so that the chosen light pattern is displayed exactly as designed. I have not tried the drawing patterns yet but will soon. Best Christmas lights by far. And when they are on sale at Best Buy they are a really good value. Planning to get another curtain when they go on sale again.

Very Cool effects, Pain in rear to set up sometimes. I suggest laying these flat on the ground in the same orientation you'll be hanging them up in if possible. then set up, then hang. The reason is if hanging on windows or doors, the reflection on the glass messes up the setup process if you. One of the 4 sets got died after a firmware upgrade. Sometimes you have to direct connect, firmware upgrade, then attach to wifi. Id suggest the insurance.

Best lights in my neighborhood. Setup can be a little tricky but totally worth it. My kids love the lights and all my neighbors stop by to comment on my lights.

Twinkly lights are favorite lights to use. They have so many themes that can be downloaded and used. Setup was easy, update ld after install with no issues.

I'll start off by saying yes, these lights are expensive, definitely will not have these everywhere, but they are really cool lights! They are bright and have so many different light patterns you can pick from, including making and saving your own. Haven't had them long, but have already used them several times and we love them!

These lights are cooler than cool. Girl they are ice cold. Easy to set up. App is easy to use. These lights be vibin.
