Hand-selected, aged Siam Oak wood forms the 30-inch-tall conga shell, providing the specified durability and sound characteristics. The wide belly creates rich, deep bass tones, making the 12.5-inch conga suited to practice, rehearsals, studio recordings, live playing, and other musical settings.
Tiny specks of shiny grains are thoroughly applied to the drum to create a sparkling finish, while numerous layers of high-gloss finishing are applied and polished to create an attractive, mirror-like exterior coat. The layered finish complements the Siam Oak wood shell with a distinctive appearance.
Compatible with Remo M7 Type Tucked Fiberskyn heads designed for optimal response and maximum durability, this conga features Deluxe hoops, reinforced side plates, and 3/8-inch diameter tuning lugs. A die-cast handle matches the hardware for a coordinated construction.
