I've been planning on automating my home for ages, and this was my first step. The setup is dead simple and the app is very responsive. I also liked that you could choose how warm or cool you wanted the lights to be, as well as brightness. I'll definitely be getting more lights in the future.

This item/product is a great way to introduce a connected home to family & friends. I use it to turn on the lites as I am leaving work, so as to not arrive to a darkened home. :)

I could not get the system to work. The app installed (very slow) then it took a long time for my phone to connect the gateway. Then I got a message that the firmare in the gateway needed updating. After again a long wait I got "update failed". After that I tried resetting the system and re-installing the app but could never connect with the gateway. Return the unit.

This was very quick and easy to set up! I love how bright the lights are, and being able to control lighting without a wifi connection if need be. The price was decent for this product. I also bought the light strip that goes along with it, combined it makes a nice ambiance for everything.
