This is a thermostat with a normally closed (NC) contact and an action temperature. It is designed to automatically cut off electrical circuits when the temperature exceeds the set point. The normally closed temperature switch is widely used in household appliance motors and electrical equipment, such as various micro motors, washing machines, air conditioners, fans, induction cookers, and other small appliances.
Product: Thermostat; Contact Type: Normally Closed (NC); Action Temperature: 160°C; Body Material: Metal; Body Size: 20mm x 7.5mm x 3.7mm / 0.79" x 0.3" x 0.15" (L x W x H); Wire Length: 70mm / 2.76"; Total Length: 90mm / 3.54"; Wire Diameter: 2.1mm / 0.083"; Rated Voltage (Ue): 250V; Rated Current (Ie): 10A; Package: 3 Pcs Thermostat
The metal body of the thermal switch ensures durability and efficient thermal conductivity, while normally closed contacts keep the circuit closed under normal conditions and open at the action temperature.
The thermostat features a small size, fast response, precise temperature control, high control current, stable performance, and long lifespan.
Connect the two wires of the thermal protector in series with the circuit you wish to protect. Mount the metal body close to the heat source or area requiring temperature monitoring. When the temperature reaches the action temperature, the switch will open, interrupting the circuit to prevent overheating.
Ensure the voltage and current in your application do not exceed the rated values. Install the temperature controller in a dry location away from direct exposure to water or corrosive substances. Verify the temperature range and contact type (NC) are suitable for your specific use before installation.
