Two Piers team up with Hackney based Record Shop Stranger Than Paradise to bring you Cosmic Cowgirls & Female Outlaws 1951-1979, following on from Stranger Than Paradise's infamous S*x Boutique jukebox compilation series, and is the latest essential compilation on the Brighton based tag Two Piers and available on Limited coloured Vinyl & CD. A love letter to the Lone Wolf and the unapologetic women of the past who forged a path for fearless female musicians through a murky male-dominated musical landscape. A collection of heavy, uncompromising psychedelic and acid-tinged country-folk tracks that take us into their mystical thoughts, strength, and appreciation of nature in all it's glory. They are sorceresses of the frontier, conjuring up savvy and sultry songs that still stand tall to this day. Grab your saddle and a Stetson and let these wanderers guide you into the wilderness. Includes tracks by Susan Christie, Bridget St John, Linda Martell, Nancy Priddy, Bobbie Gentry, Brigitte Fontaine, The Kossoy Sisters and more.
