Vater Percussion offers the Monster Wood Specialty Stick, featuring nylon bristles arranged in a traditional brush configuration to provide a textured swish sound and backbeat accents. The handle is constructed from wood and features a 5A diameter grip, designed to provide a familiar balance for percussionists accustomed to standard drumstick specifications. Measuring 15.25 inches in length with a 2-inch width, these specialty sticks are intended for use in diverse musical settings including jazz, funk, and studio performances. Each pair is cataloged under manufacturer code VBMW and inventory reference HL 00242974 to facilitate accurate procurement and tracking for retail and studio environments.
Features high-durability nylon bristles identical to those found in the Monster Brush and Little Monster series. The bristles are set in a traditional brush arrangement to provide the specific "swish" sound and rhythmic textures expected by percussionists. This construction ensures consistent performance for jazz, funk, and varied drumming applications requiring distinct, textured sound output.
The handle is precision-machined from wood to a 5A diameter, offering a familiar, balanced weight and feel for drummers accustomed to standard drumsticks. This ergonomic design ensures a comfortable grip, facilitating smooth transitions between traditional sticks and specialty brushes. It provides the necessary physical interface for secure handling during extended performance sessions.
Engineered to deliver clear and articulate backbeat accents, these specialty sticks provide a versatile alternative to standard wood-tip models. The brush configuration allows percussionists to easily emphasize backbeats while maintaining a controlled volume. This utility makes them a functional tool for both live performance environments and studio recording sessions that require nuanced dynamics.
Built to a total length of 15.25 inches, providing the reach and leverage required for standard drum kit configurations and technique execution. This dimension is carefully balanced with the handle and bristle assembly to ensure consistent performance. The length supports a wide range of percussive movements, allowing for seamless integration into existing percussion setups.
Cataloged under manufacturer code VBMW, these sticks are designed for efficient procurement and tracking. Verified with inventory reference HL 00242974 and UPC 641652487018, they support accurate inventory management for retail and studio environments. Vater Percussion provides these technical details to ensure professional-grade accuracy in product identification and supply chain integration.
