Compare to my first earbud Firacore Sport X. My Sport X is an ear bud design that had small silicone type tips. They never sealed in the ear, so it was lacking good bass. However, the mid-high end sound was always clear and well defined. The Veatool has good bass. However, the clarity of the high end is missing at louder volumes. Will keep it for my wife's pair. Good value at the price I paid. Would return it if I paid retail.
