They say that you get what you pay for, with CD, DVD and Blu Ray disks it's more then true.I've tried many different brands over the years, but one has been consistent in performance, lack of coasters and retention, Verbatim. There are manufacturers that I could speak out about, but the rules say that I should avoid, "Information about other companies..." so I will. If you want your data to be safe (and don't want to spend money on "professional" disks, then your go to brand is Verbatim.

Personally, I backed-up all my Complete Life's Music Collection in just one 50 Gb Blu-ray Disc. Great to back-up your personal High Definition Non-protected Videos, all your important and valuable data documents in just one or few Discs. You can burn a very great deal of photos on just one Disc. A Blu-ray Disc has more space than 10 DVD's or 5 DVD-R DL's. These Verbatim Discs were well recognized by my SONY Blu-ray Player. You can also record High-Resolution Audio and then burn it using these discs.

IF YOUR GOING TO BACK UP YOUR CURRENT MOVIES AND WANT ALL THE SUBTITILES AND EXTRAS THIS IS FOR YOU. THE 25 GB ARNT LARGE ENOGH TO HOLD IT ALL

Hard to find in more than 3 disks. Bulk would be better and less expensive

These by far write the best. Wish they were a little cheaper though

Bought these to complete a project/present for the hubby and they did the job beautifully. No compatibility issues or false burns to speak of. Don't be fooled by the missing star. I reserve the 5 star ratings for products that exceed my expectations and it's hard (nigh impossible) for a blank media disk to do that.

I've always used Verbatim's for my Blu Ray needs,and have never had to throw one away.Highly recommended

These seem to work great. I wouldn't go cheap on these kinds of discs!

Simple and effective. They get the job done when you need upwards of 40GB of backup storage.

They were the extact items I had been looking for. They worked great and had no problems. The bad part was the price as I couldn't find them in a small town. They are a great product but way too expensive!!!!!
