Veronese Design - Frigga Norse Goddess of Love Marriage and Destiny Standing Near Spindle Statue - Bronze

It is hard to imagine a better fit for the modern woman than Frigga, the Nordic goddess of love, marriage, and destiny. Although she has a beautiful form, as this sculpture clearly depicts, she is a true Viking woman, equally capable of tending home and hearth as of battling her enemies. She is pictured with a spindle, as she is deemed to weave the clouds for the fertility of the land, as well as weaving the destiny of both man and the Gods. Frigga was a true wonder woman for the Norseman, and this gorgeous figure makes a great gift for collectors of Viking mythology and medieval art, as well as for today’s woman who is looking for a role model that can keep up with her.
