I like this unit for it combines all the functions I need. My old record player, and CD/cassette player broke years ago. I miss playing my record, CD and cassette collection, of which many are from foreign countries. Now with this unit I can play all of them. I don't need to have separate players. It also comes handy with an FM radio. The sound is clear and good to my ears. The price is competitive. I am glad I got this unit on sale.

I purchased this Victrola - Navigator 8-in-1 Classic for my older son recently. This Victrola - Navigator 8-in-1 Classic is perfect for people who love and still collect vinyl. The expresso color is fanciful. I bought one a couple of months before for my 15-year-old son and the sound was fantastic, that is why I decided to get another. Unfortunately, BestBuy shipped the item to my house without boxing it and in total disregard for the integrity of the item. BestBuy shipped it in its original box. The box was delivered to my house and as you can imagine, the outer box arrived completely damaged. My son opened the box when he arrived from overseas and we noticed that the Victrola had damage on the right top corner. This damage was caused by BestBuy ignoring or taking the necessary steps to box the item properly before shipping it to protect my purchase. BestBuy saved a couple of dollars by not boxing it appropriately. I took it back today to BestBuy in its original box and showed it to the manager. “Hector,” the manager told me that he would only replace the Victrola by using the plan protection that I added and paid for at the time of my original purchased. “Hector” told me that my protection plan would be voided after that. “Hector” told me that I had to pay for a NEW protection plan if I wanted to protect my latest item. It was not what he said what concerned me, what bothered me was his attitude and the way he said it. So, I paid for another protection plan. The Victrola - Navigator 8-in-1 Classic rating could have been higher had it not being for BestBuy Manager “Hector’s” attitude was awful.

Victrola has a great reputation for quality, that was why I bought it. However, there were a few problems with the instructions for the turntable. Safety screw was NOT attached “for transportation purposes,” and there was NO white plastic needle guard on the tone arm. When I turn the unit on, the volume is so loud, and when I turn it down to “1” it is still loud.
