At the time of purchase, Best Buy's website listed this Viewsonic monitor as a 70Hz, it is actually a 60hz. Because several online reviews listed this as a "60hz", I decided to call a Best Buy staff member before buying. Our local Best Buy reassured me that this monitor was "70hz" - IT'S NOT. Other than that bit of misinformation, we are very happy with our purchase. BTW - THE ADJUSTABLE STAND IS WONDERFUL! YOU WILL LOVE IT! Adjusting the monitor height is almost effortless, and the swivel and tilt work smoothly and easily. Whoever designed the stand for this monitor should get a HUGE raise! Now that we have grown to love our new monitor, there is only one other problem. We are wondering if we should have purchased the next size up...

The flat screen is large and crisp. It works with my desk top Gateway computer which is fairly old and I use Ubuntu 14.04 as my operating system. It works very well with it. Right now I have it connected to my ProBook 6560b connected by WIFI, in windows 10 and again it is big, bright and works flawlessly. What more can I ask for?

For the WFH lifestyle I'm experiencing now, I needed a second monitor for my laptop. After reading a bunch of reviews, I settled on this ViewSonic and overall, I'm happy with it. I like being able to switch between landscape and portrait and the image quality is better than what I had in the office. I wasn't expecting it to take up as much room on my desk as it does and I wish it could go to a higher resolution, but for the cost and speed of which I received it, it's a solid buy.
