Vizio has come up with a solid, 1080p set with a price that is hard to beat. There are some negatives with this TV but the positives far outweigh them. Some people complain about the lack of 4K but I find that 4K (not HDR, just 4K) is highly overrated. Unless you are sitting less than 5 ft away from this TV, you aren’t going to notice a difference between 1080p and 4K. Not only that but 4K sources are still few and far between. Some of the streaming services, like Netflix, have started offering 4K but it isn’t for every title. 4K Blu-ray movies and players are still expensive and broadcast TV in the U.S. is still either 720p or 1080i, stations aren’t even broadcasting in 1080p yet. The lack of 4K is not a valid reason to stay away from this HDTV, at least not yet. It’s a shame that TV manufacturers and content providers are using HDR color only with 4K content when they could have done the same with 1080p. It’s just a way for them to get people to buy tech that they just don’t need. The picture quality of this Vizio is pretty top notch. It’s not as nice as my older Samsung Plasma but that’s to be expected as LED HDTVs still can’t compete with Plasma. Once calibrated, I found the colors to be pretty accurate. Black levels are better than traditional, edge-lit LED HDTVs as this one has true backlighting with 10 independent areas that are able to provide local dimming. I was pleasantly surprised with the overall picture quality of this set. It’s not on par with a $1500 Sony but I purchased this TV for $350. The size is outright huge and, when viewed from an optimal viewing distance, I didn’t notice any pixels. I am not a fan of the motion smoothing and generally turn it off when watching movies, playing a videogame, TV shows, etc. The only time I turn it on is when watching a sports game, the smoothing helps a bit. I do wish that the TV could display proper 1080/24p content but it can’t. Everything is “upscaled” to at least 60fps instead of showing cinematic movies as they should be. That’s OK and normally the 1080/24p feature is found in more expensive sets. This is a smart TV but I don’t use any of the built-in apps. I have an Apple TV hooked up to this and it provides a much smoother experience than using the built-in OS. That’s true for most smart TV’s though, their built-in operating systems don’t provide as nice of an experience as using a dedicated media device. The Vizo is DNLA compliant so I am able to “cast” videos and music from my Surface Pro 4 to the TV without requiring additional software. I can even mirror/extend my Surface Pro 4’s display wirelessly and have a smooth experience. All-in-all, I highly recommend this HDTV for anyone that is on a budget. It won’t compete with $1000+ HDTVs but it does hold its own with similarly priced models. It’s also hard to beat having a 60-inch TV while only paying $400. Just do yourself a favor and properly calibrate the TV. The built-in presets tend to have the color blown out way too much along with the brightness. Pros: -Good picture quality -Lots of HDMI inputs -True backlight system -Some smart features work nicely -Motion smoothing helps when watching sports games -Price-to-size ratio can’t be beat Cons: -No 1080/24p -Most apps run better on a dedicated device -Built-in calibration presets aren’t useful

I was (sorta) in the market for a new tv and I figured the thanksgiving/Black Friday holiday would be the best time to do so. I came across this tv on line and was super disappointed to find out they tv could not be shipped and was not available in a store in my local area. But I call my local Best Buy anyway...after a not so pleasant interaction with customer service, I was able to speak with a store manager who confirmed the location indeed had 1 in their system. I pickup the tv the same day, but waiting until Christmas to open it, and oh boy was it worth the wait!!! I had an older Vizio tv and didn't really think the model would be much better than I had. I was wrong!!! The clearity is amazing, the is fantastic, and it was super easy to set up to my homes wifi. Honestly one of the best purchases I've had for my home in the price point in a long time. In short: great tv and in store customer service, very poor phone customer service!

As most people do before making a purchase like this, I did a lot of research. You can make yourself crazy comparing different tv's, but I am very happy with my choice. The picture is great, it's very easy to set up, and had a great refresh rate for fast action like sports. My girlfriends Vizeo had an amazing picture, and her tv was several years old, so I knew mine would be as good or better. This tv is not 4K, but the picture is so great that I gave up 4K for a bigger tv at a much better price. The sound is pretty good too, but I am hooking it up to my stereo for surround sound, but for every day use, it is good. You can nick pick tv's to death, or just pull the trigger on this one without fear.

This is by far the best TV that we have purchased. It has amazing picture quality and we love that it has a smart TV built-in to the TV. It is very easy to use and the price was reasonable .

I did a lot of research on TVs before settling on this particular one. My main criteria was that it had to be a budget flat panel. I've had a Vizio previously and loved the picture quality. This TV definitely delivered on my expectations. Picture needed some calibrations but overall, looks excellent, even on basic cable lines. The only complaints I have, is that the remote doesn't have the keypad on the back as found on older Vizio models, and sometimes bringing up the app dashboard is a little sluggish. Overall, excellent picture for the money

This is not the first Vizio TV I've owned. The first one was a 32" back in 2006; it's still working fine. This 60" TV was super easy to set-up, easy to navigate remote control, and an excellent picture with 120 Hz processing that makes sports and other fast moving content very enjoyable to watch. I purchased Best Buy's two year extended warranty just for extra peace of mind, but I'll be surprised if I have to use it.

Bought this for my brother who loves to watch a lot of movies so the smart features were great! Vizio and Samsung have been our favorite TV brands because of its excellent quality! Would highly recommend this TV!

The Vizio TV is very lightweight and has good picture quality. The DTS Studio Sound is pretty good for my livingroom. The HDMI Ports on the back of the TV only have room for HDMI cables. If you were to use a streaming stick such as Roku, it does not fit due to the design of the tv. You would have to use an HDMI extender. The HDMI Port #3 found on the side of the TV is slower than the other two ports on the back. The VIA Apps launcher desperately needs to increase their apps selection.

This TV has great picture quality and is very competitively priced. If you don't want to go 4k but do value a clear picture at 60 inches this tv is what you want.

Good picture and great price. You get a big screen without busting the bank on this TV. Perfect for a budget.

I always told myself I'd buy a big-screen TV if the price fell below $500, so this was it. It was a close-out at one of the local stores. It was easy to set up, even all alone. It has a very good picture and the action plays fairly smoothly. My only complaint is that sometimes light-colored scenes look a little grainy, but it's possible I don't have everything adjusted properly just yet. Overall, though, I'm very happy with my purchase.

Exactly what we wanted. Great picture, great price and I would definitely buy again and from Best Buy.

I read all of the reviews before purchasing this television. I assumed something was wrong with it because it was on clearance for so cheap. I have several Vizio brand LED TVs and they have all been great. This one is no different. It is a great TV. Great picture quality, user interface is smooth and easy to use, and the sound is clear. It was a great purchase and I will buy 2 more if I can catch them before they sell out!

Easy to setup, no need for direction. So much better from flat screen TV of 5 years ago
