This baby monitor was a terrible experience. Less than 2 months after having it, it stopped working. It started with the temperature reading not showing up. Then the monitor would randomly make a popping noise. And now it won’t charge. It will only stay on if I keep it plugged in. Once I unplug it, it only has 1 charge bar and this is after having it on the charge for hours. I have a child with special needs who requires close monitoring and now I have to scramble to buy another monitor (not this one) asap. A complete waste of money and Best Buy wouldn’t correct the issue.

There is a reason no one has ever talked about quality with a Vtech device. The unit won’t take a charge, and Best Buy won’t accept a return because we are a few days outside of the window.

Cheap for a reason. The volume on the parent unit is louder than the actual camera. Light is extremely dim. Not worth the money.
