I purchased this 2-Line item because it said, 3 handsets included. When I received it, it only had the one. Went to Best Buy to get the missing handsets and was told that if you clicked on the item 'Whats included' does not mention any additional handsets so it was my fault but they were willing replace it with a Single line phone that comes with 2 additional handsets. I accepted as I needed something immediately.

seems to be a great phone in terms of sound quality and multiple speakerphones (base & handset) ...you can walk around on conference calls with the handset speaker on and muted ... has an answering system, which I don't use ... has an intercom feature between the base and the handset, which I don't use (may be appropriate in a big house) ... has a directory for saving numbers and speed dialing ... has a hold button for putting one line on hold while you answer the other ... has a flash button for conferencing and accepting another incoming call ... has a redial button on the menu screen ... if you have a message waiting with your service provider's voice mail system, an icon appears in the menu screen ... the only thing I don't like (which may be asking too much) is the menu screen on the base and the handset only light up when you press the menu button ... if you have a voice mail message waiting with your service provider's system an icon appears on the dark screen but ... you could go hours or a day before thinking to check for messages ... (not good for looking responsive to communications) ... my old set had a light that would light up and blink if there was a message waiting ... guess I got used to that ... all in all though ... the phone has all the bells and whistles ... great phone for the money!

Had to replace my old 2 line phone system. I've had Vtech phones before, so I was familiar with them, This system is easy to set up and easy to program. I like the fact that I can set up the answering machine with a different message for each line, and I can listen to, and save or delete messages from the handset! This system has more options than my old one, at a much more affordable price!
