I am really enjoying my new VTech phone that I purchased to replace my Panasonic phone. Pros: Wireless over the head headset, the call block feature, the connect to cell phone feature, ability to use the answering machine included and/or the paid answering service provided by the phone company. The only con to this feature is that there is no indicator light to let you know there is a message waiting if you use the telephone company service. If you use the answering machine that is supplied with the phone, there is an annoying beep that that lets you know there is a message waiting. I believe this feature can be turned off. I like the ability to screen an incoming call when you use the included answering machine feature. Very sleek and modern looking. I would have given five stars except for the cons: Buttons above the number pad and below the incoming call screen (see photo) on the handsets are not backlit, the wireless earpiece provided is difficult to put on and is uncomfortable, the base for the second phone is very lightweight and is easily knocked over when replacing the phone. I wish there was a way to block an incoming call as it is coming. Otherwise, this is a great phone and I would recommend it to others.

Very happy with this purchase. Works great. So many features and comes with a wireless headset that comes in handy if I’m doing stuff around the house or doing work from home. Transfer to/from my cell with 1 button. It charges the main phone and earpiece at the same time on the main base. Many other features. I would totally recommend this to friends, family and coworkers.

Its fine. Some time you have to push down a little bit harder on the button.

After 6 months of use, the over-ear wireless headset would suddenly cut out in the middle of calls. After a bit of troubleshooting, it was quite clear that the headset simply wasn't holding a charge. I purchased a brand new replacement battery, but this did not fix the issue. It turns out that in order for the headset to charge, I have to apply a significant amount of pressure to get it to seat properly in the molded headset rest. Neither the headset nor the base was ever dropped, so I deduce that perhaps the magnet that holds the over-ear headset to the charging pins on the base has lost some of its strength. One of the attached shows the amount of pressure that I need to apply just to get it to take a charge. As soon as I take my thumb away it stops charging. Wasted > $100 for a piece of technology that will ultimately go to the trash.

We purchased the phone several months ago to replace a wireless system that was zapped during a thunderstorm. So far this system has worked great; clear calls; easy to use features; just what you'd expect. The headset is the most used/useful feature for us. We like the total hands-free option it provides. We've had no issues with range on the handsets or the headset (but we live in a small house; not sure about a larger house or one with more walls/obstacles). We have not tried the bluetooth functionality.

I previously had a high end v tech set that I replaced with this model because batteries were getting hard to find and did not last long. I love the earpiece feature, and I have synced my cell phone to the handset, but have yet to figure out how to answer it on the handset. I also miss the numerous varied ringtones that told me exactly who's calling without looking at caller ID. The phone also doesn't offer to display the caller ID on my tv, again forcing me to go look at the phone. The sound is clear though, and I like that my cell phone contacts were added to my phonebook. An ok phone, but a step down from my last v tech.

I really liked this phone when I purchased it. My intent was to use it for work and the included headset came in handy when I was on long conference calls. The major issue I had is with connecting it to my iPhone. There is a software issue that doesn't allow the phones to connect properly. If the handset rang and I attempted to answer the calI it wouldn't connect. I'd then have to answer on my cell and transfer the call from the cell to the handset. This became very annoying. I contacted the manufacturer who said they were working on resolving the issue. I couldn't risk waiting and potentially being stuck with a phone that doesn't work so I returned it. I now have a Panasonic model which I really like. If you are using this phone with an Android or landline I highly recommend it. It's a great phone but not for my needs.

Very easy to set up and I love the sound quality. The ear piece automatically connects. The ONLY qualm so far is I can't just push the button on the earpiece once the call is over, you have to push the End button on the phone. Other than that it's five stars.

My second Vtech phone system. First system still worked at a dozen years old, but was kept together with crazy glue because each handset had been dropped a million times. I am loving the hands free ear piece, but finding the caller I’d window not as readable as the first, and the on off buttons not as well placed. Speaker phone great, and Bluetooth pairing with my mobile phone is an added benefit.

Who still has a house phone. Well, when you have elderly parents, we do. I like the earpiece feature to make it handsfree.

It is light weight and easy to use. Haven't used the earpiece yet but I am sure that is great too! The features I've used so far was easy to learn. Wish there were options for ring tone but the one they have is fine.

Normally going for the big name brands, choosing the VTech even surprised me. Primary goals here was ease of use and a headset for hands free communication. The bonus here is the Bluetooth headset that works without the phone in your pocket and delivers clear sound. Large font is a plus for us seniors and the answering machine can be accessed via handset rather than going back to the base. For those without a land line the base even answers cell calls via Bluetooth.

The Good. The styling is clean and contemporary. It was the best looking phone I could find and it had the features I was looking for. Most phones today look like they were styled in the 1970's for Radio Shack. The audio on the handset, headset, and even the answering machine is clean and clear. Calls can be answered from the headset. Calls have to be initiated from the handset. What could be better? The product has a cheap flimsy feel to it and the ear clips for the headset do not appear to be very durable. The headset headband is too small for large heads. The illuminated keypad does not illuminate evenly, which looks cheap. The illuminated display is not very bright and hard to read. The font is too condensed. The range of the headset is very short and susceptible to interference. The Bluetooth does go through walls very well. For best results, you have to be in the same room with the base station. The 72 page manual is too long and filed with too much legal boiler plate. The information you actually need can be too hard to find and too confusing. Otherwise, it could be 5 stars.

My wife needed a phone with a headset so she could answer calls at home when she can’t go into the office. The sound quality is very good and it’s very easy to use. We haven’t tried pairing it with cell phone as we have no need for that.

I purchase this item as a gift for someone who was having issues with their cordless phone. They love the look of the phone and they also love the way of a phone performs. The Bluetooth option was an added bonus. The connection is easy and very clear. The battery life is up to par and long-lasting off the base. My friend was very appreciative of this gift and is very happy with the phones. They haven't used the cell phone connection option yet so I cannot comment on that.
