Customers recognize the Washer Install service for its overall performance, installation speed, capacity, and acceptable noise level. However, some customers have reported issues with leveling and balance of the machine after installation. Other less frequent issues include problems with hose connections, occasional damage during installation, and missing connectivity hoses. Overall, the majority of customers seem satisfied with the Washer Install service.
To prepare for installation, clear a path from the street to the laundry room wide enough to accommodate the washer. Make sure someone 18 or older is present at the appointment time.
We’ll disconnect the existing washer from the electrical system and water.
We'll connect it to existing utilities using a new power cord and fill hoses (sold separately, automatically added at checkout). For front-load washers, we'll place it on a compatible pedestal (sold separately), or stack it with your compatible dryer with a compatible stacking kit (sold separately).
We’ll clean up and recycle all packaging and make sure your new washer is functioning properly. Finally, we’ll answer any questions you may have and let you know how to contact us for future support.
When you purchase a qualifying washer from Best Buy, we’ll haul away and recycle or relocate your old one for you (not included).
Additional charges may apply for permits required by your municipality, cabinet or counter modifications, and utilities like valves or outlets which are non-functional or not-up-to code. Relocation does not include reconnection.
