Released in 1964 and produced by James D. InchJimInch Musil, club manager at JD's venue in Arizona, Inchat JD'sInch is the debut studio album by US country artist Waylon Jennings. Despite the title alluding to this record being a live album, it is a collection of studio recordings showcasing country, rock, folk and blues styles, and Jennings' profound ability to blend rock 'n' roll with country and western. Original album pressings were sold exclusively at JD's nightclub. JD's was once coined Inchthe biggest night spot in the South WestInch and Jennings' regularly performed here during the early 60's with his backing band The Waylors.
