I baught two of these and put heat sinks on both. On test they both got to 90 degrees Celsius after just one test. They are small and very fast, but very hot as well.

Cloned my old HD, installed this one, thermal pasted (recommended, if you swap out the memory from a Surface Pro, for example you'll find a metal casing with thermal tape underneath.) Thought all was good, and then Windows BSOD (Blue screen of death) Upon doing a little research, found you'll need to update the drivers, especially for Windows. Once that was done, no problems. Just wish I had known and not wasted so many frustrating weeks figuring it out.

These prices are going up so...upgrading your storage is starting to price people out. Get this if it's under $130 otherwise...maybe wait it out.

The drive is fine but the WD is priced higher than other brands while not providing any extra speed in comparison. You can get a faster option at a much lower cost when shopping on Amaz**. Best Buy will match the prices, however, if you find a better price for the same item (must be ships/sold by Amaz** however).

Works as should, had to argue with a employee about if the ssd would fit in the Rog Ally (which it does obviously) could be a little cheaper, and little faster.
