Seagate is a very reliable name and has a five year warranty

Just what I needed for my computer. I needed more storage for my congregation duties and the reviews pointed to this hard drive. So far, it’s all I need and working well.

As a Photo Studio, Backup files are Paramount and always Large files. We limit our Storage units to 3TB in case of a HD failure, so we are frequently buying these Hard drives and have yet to have a problem.

So far so good. Installed and formatted without any issues. Time will tell how dependable this drive is but have read great things about WD and am replacing a faulty Seagate with this 3TB drive.

This item ran just long enough for me to completely install all my software and personal files and then it crashed with no chance of repair locally ( a identity thief situation if returned ). Western Digital does not support their product even if it has been registered and they actually state that the failed item has been registered with them. I purchase 5 of these things from BestBuy and now I'm sorry. BestBuy did the best they could to help. Either way I loose. I had this item about three days before it failed.

Fast and easy setup, as all hardrives. Available in store close to us, so fast pick up. Great purchase overall

I have no had any issues with this drive. It works as expected.

Short story - had nearly 3TB of photos/videos on this drive & was alerted to the failure from Carbonite online backup software. Glad I used Carbonite (also had a 3TB raid WD EX2 on local network) WHEW!
