This would not work for my media so I bought a seagate.never had any problems with that brand

WD removed this being part of WD backup so can't use this device for backup using the WD backup software have to use manually or use windows capability - Decided to return this item in favor for WDpassport.

Used as a ps4 external drive and this piece of junk lasted a year and now freezes up the console and blinks rapidly
