Installation: Took me a while to set this up since I had no mounts on the roof itself and all existing pipes were on bad location. I purchased antenna mount and installed it on top of my attached garage. Must say installation was not easy for me since I am very bad climber but I got it done quickly after lots of shaking and sweating. Setup: Setting up this product was very easy, really just a plug and play. I used "OpenSignal" app to determine location of nearest T-Mobile tower and positioned my antenna toward that tower. You might need to go 10 degrees to right or to the left and after each changed position you should powercycle your booster Performance: Honestly I don't see much difference when it comes to my cellphone service. My speed test results for data are same as before, web sites and videos still loading slow, people are still complaining about quality of the calls but my signal bar indicator shows more lines - not sure how accurate that it since both of our IPhones are not opening Field Test menu. Since I had no dropped calls before or after installing booster there is no compering in that area. Overview: I was honestly expecting more from this device but I can't tell how far the closest T-Mobile tower is since my reception and data services are bad in wide neighborhood area - so maybe I am just way too far to get improvement? Reminder: Do not forget to register your cellphone booster, its required by FCC and even by your network provider.

This is not a fully developed product. I installed the booster according to the included instructions, and used the recommended 3rd party app to calibrate. The signal was actually worse with the booster than without. In addition, the manufacturer does not have its own software to go with the product, and support for ios11 or newer is limited. If you live in a single story home, it requires the outside and inside antennas to be 50ft apart with coaxial cable running between them.

Bought booster online with Geek Squad installation. After waiting a week, Geek Squad called to say they couldn’t/wouldn’t install. Hard time returning to local Outlet. Just a bad experience overall. Went to Verizon and got better solution.

The product setup was fairly involved, and after following all of the procedures my cell reception improvement was minimal. The cell network reception in our home was only showing 1 bar and dropped calls continuously. After the booster was setup I still had the same issues.

The box got so hot we could hardly touch it. Then it quit working after 8 months. Hopefully we can get it fixed. Its way too expensive to only work for 8 months

Returned. Didn’t work for us. App was useless, other users had the same problem-not accurate in showing where the towers are. One light on the system so it’s either a go or no go. Our previous unit has indicator bars which, in my opinion, is more conducive of the true connection state.

I called customer service before ordering this product to ask if Geek Squad could install the roof antennae. Customer service assured me that Geek Squad could do this and they charged me a service fee and scheduled an appointment. The morning of the appointment, a Geek Squad member called to say that they no longer install rooftop antennas. I returned the product and was refunded my money. However, I was very disappointed by the lack of communication between the departments. I hope that Best Buy will invest in training their customer service representatives.

I’m extremely disappointed with my purchase. I received the product, followed all instillation directions, powered up the unit and was so happy for 30 seconds before the power cord went out. There must be a known issue with these power cords based on the support hotline. This is too much money for an item with a poor quality power cord. Do better WeBoost. Best Buy you need to hold your suppliers accountable for known issues not being addressed.

Live in a rural area. We used the app as stated to find the nearest cell tower, cut down trees to have clear shot to nearest tower showing in the app. Even went as far as getting the climber hunting stand to put high up on a tree and cutting all limbs near the antenna! Checked the app again the it was showing the signal for the nearest tower was in the opposite direction! I called customer service the were rude and absolutely no help. Most of the time we got better service when it was unplugged!

The receiver inside the house gets really hot and the light turns red… spent over 600$ on this item and it doesn’t work .

Works great if you're in the same room but as soon as you get out of sight your signal goes from 80-90 to 115-130

Doesn’t work well if you have to many metal obstructions in your building. If it can be placed where metal or tin is not in the way it works fine.

Garbage. I should have trusted the reviews. This was a complete waste of money. There has been no noticeable difference in the cellphone strength even when i use it for one room. Ive tried it in different locations

My house does not receive a signal inside so I decided to try this device. The problem is there is barely any signal outside so the device only provided less than one (1) mbps download and would not perform an upload. So the device is going back to the store.

I have bought two of these. returned the first one after just a little over a month because it quit working. after 2 months this one has quit. the product does not boost the signal that far or well unless you are in the same room. but two tries both have gave out. time for something different.

Didn’t work in my area gave me one bar instead of none and that was not enough to do anything! And now I’m told I can’t return it it’s passed the date which was 2 days ago!

The kit is all inclusive, so no complaints there. However, it did absolutely nothing to improve the cell reception in my house. I was really hopeful about this product, but retuned it. I can’t justify that kind of money for no improvement in cellular reception.

Hasn't improved my cell reception since it has been installed. Really frustrating to spendcover 500 on something and get little to no value forvthe product. I would not recommend.
