I live 1.6 miles away from my closest AT&T tower. I’m a nurse, not IT, or antenna man, or an expert. But I do have basic knowledge in computers. Before the signal booster my phone reception was -115 to -100 if I step by the window. And dead signal in some places. My whole neighborhood it’s a hole. After look online my provider tower I proceed to walk and see the tower and then pin it in my phone GPS. Then I went home and put the signal booster antena in a mop stick and like spider man I climb into to my house roof scared of death. I assembly the booster as instructed. And I put the antena pointing to the tower 1.6 miles from home. With google maps I was able to look where I am pointing. Once on, I proceed to turn on the booster. The signal is most of the time between -50 to -70 and I have notable improvement in my internet speed test. I have 2 floors house, 3 bedrooms, so it works, just take your time and put the booster antenna as high as possible
This unit is on the higher end price wise, but you get what you pay for. I have been using a $150 booster for about a year in my home office. My office is inside a metal shop building and is about 450 sq. feet. Cell signal is weak outside the building generally 1-2 bars LTE at the most, at at the worst the "no signal" icon is on. The last cell booster would consistently give me 2-3 bars, plenty to make a call. However, it only lasted 12 months before it quit working. I have installed this unit and am happy to say I have 5 bars of LTE inside my home office. I hope this unit will last longer than 12 months considering the price. Performance so far has been great! I installed the outdoor antenna on top of a 2 foot tall pipe at the peak of my shop, pointing towards the nearest cell tower which is approx. 6.5 miles as the crow flies. Install time was about 1.5 hours.

I live down a hill from the closest cell tower, so cell reception was spotty at best with absolutely no 5g. Now I get at least 2 bars of 5g anywhere in my house and usually 3-4 bars. All of our cell phones work so much better. And it doesn't matter how many devices are running. Just follow the directions.

Worked very well. Before installing cell signal was one bar by a picture window. Was unable to do any internet with phone. After installation was able to stream videos. Make sure you download an app that lets you find the cell tower to point the exterior antenna. Very crucial for a successful install.

This thing really works if you at least have a signal outside. It is a bit of work finding the cell tower so you can point the directional antenna. The app told me to point it in the wrong direction. I have Verizon in the Smoky Mountains with zero signal inside the house. Had to use WiFi calling before I installed this. Not super fast speeds but we do get 4g LTE around 3mb down and 1mb up. Compared to zero without this booster, it’s worth the money.

I went from no signal (-123 dBm) in my metal building to full bars (-68 dBm).

From “standing in a corn field” to “plugged into tower”. The range doesn’t extend to the next room but as long as you’re in the same room as the antenna there is no comparison. First two speed test attempts without booster failed. First speed test on LTE pulled 52 mbps down.

It helps with signal on the phone tremendously when set up properly. The instructions help you alot with settling up the system.

The WeBoost is working as advertised. We had little to no cell phone reception until installing the WeBoost. Now we can make and receive cell phone calls from anywhere within the house with clarity and no dropped calls. Also a huge improvement for cellular data & hotspot use. This product has not disappointed.

I live in ruralish suburbs and cell phone reception where I am can be pretty spotty. Often we have to deal with dropped calls and garbled audio during calls made from inside the house. The setup process for this signal booster is straightforward, though somewhat involved. However, the video tutorials from weBoost guided us through each of the steps from determining where the signal was the weakest in our home, to where it was strongest outside our home, and how to locate the nearest cell tower so we could point the antenna in the right direction. I wasn’t relishing the idea of going up on the roof to mount the outside antenna, but thankfully, after watching the setup videos, we learned that I could install the “outside” antenna in the attic, as long as it was oriented towards the closest cell tower that provided our network’s service (we use Verizon, but it's compatible will all GSM or CDMA networks). This also helped us avoid drilling holes in the exterior wall to run the cable inside, and we were able to skip using the window entry jumper cable. Even with the outside antenna in the attic, it was still able to receive a strong enough signal from the tower and transmit it to the booster. We set the inside antenna on the first floor in the living room where we felt we would be making the most calls, therefore needed the most improvement in signal quality. I like that the inside antenna has a modern looking fabric cover to blend in with other décor. It looks just like a Bluetooth speaker sitting on the table, though it can be wall mounted or even hidden behind furniture. The booster unit itself, however, is quite industrial looking and has three wires hanging off of it so this is a better candidate for placing behind a couch or in a closet. It also has an indicator LED on it, so you may want to keep it somewhere where you can check on the status every once in a while. It runs pretty hot to the touch too, so wherever it goes, you have to make sure it has good ventilation. This signal booster has improved the cell reception for us across three rooms on our first level according to the signal test results on my Galaxy Note 9. Before setting the booster up, I had pretty consistent signal readings of -115 to -107 dBm, which is fairly low (-120 dBm is pretty much unusable signal). After installing and turning the signal booster on, I’ve been seeing signal readings of -90 up to -65 dBm (-40 dBm would be "perfect" signal). In practical terms, that means I no longer get dropped calls from the rooms where the signal is boosted and since the signal picked up is 4G/LTE, data speeds are faster too, which is really helpful if our WiFi goes down. The booster is also able to pickup 3G network signals, if for some reason the 4G signal isn’t strong enough. So at least call quality can be maintained even if data isn’t available, though it’s unlikely we’ll experience that scenario in our area. The only thing to keep in mind is that the inside antenna’s signal is directional and limited in range, so it needs to face into a room to get the most signal out of it, and the signal only travels so far and drops off the farther you move away from the antenna, so we don’t see any of the signal improvement on the 2nd and 3rd floors of our home. Overall, the device was pretty simple to set up, improved call quality and data speeds across three rooms (living room, dining room, kitchen with open floor plan), and gave us consistent and reliable call coverage where we needed it the most.

We had an earlier model, but since getting iPhone 12 Pro the signal was lacking. Now with the new WeBoost we receive 4bars 5G even here in Rural Parker County. Streaming is a breeze now. Great Priduct!!!
Alright so I moved to 40 acres of heavy forestry with the nearest cell tower for Verizon about two miles away and with some hills in between us. (Graham, WA). Nearest 5G tower is ridiculously far away. Connected wirelessly this to the 5G orbic from Verizon, climbed 50 fit up a tree with 2” X 10’ PVC with the antenna clamped on the end, after that I ratchet strapped the pvc up to the 50ft part I could stand on lifted the pvc up ten fit on tree then had someone reboot the system and I instantly got 5G 4 bars in an area I was getting no service to one bar and 4g. The App I used was called find tower, it’s a little glitchy of an app but it did find me the nearest cell towers. I have lived in areas like this my entire life and this completely blew me away. I can load anything faster than I ever could in Seattle/Tacoma. My only problem was the inside antenna doesn’t give too much range, which is alright because I have the orbic from Verizon and that gives me at least 1500sq ft of coverage. I’m boon docking and I have yet to see a trailer that is that large. Anyways I thought I give a review because when I was looking through here didn’t seem like too many helpful ones out there. This thing works insanely well and if yours doesn’t it’s broke return and try again.

We had poor reception for our AT&T 4g hotspot in the house. With the weBoost installed, once we had the antenna pointed correctly at a nearby tower, all our slow and interrupted internet issues went away. Now it BC acts like true high-speed internet. Also, she has verizon, I have AT&T and both our phones now work reliably with solid connections. Our house lies in a shallow valley and has high quality insulation, and both these issues were fixed by this device. We ended up hiring a professional antenna installer for $225 to put it in and that was worth every penny due to how much work it ended up being.

We went from not being able to load a simple web page, to being able to stream video on cellular data and I haven’t even fine tuned the aiming! The install is easy as long as you are a little handy, if you are looking for a professionally installed look but aren’t used to home maintenance you may consider hiring someone to install. I insisted on running the wires through the attic and walls but could have ran externally just as easily. It comes with a short piece of coax that is flat and will allow you to run the cable through a window.

We live in a remote area in Indiana where cell service is sketchy at best. We have to walk around the house or sometimes have to go outside to answer calls. We also use Hughes net satellite for internet which was not very good either. I installed the Weboost and now have 3-4 bars of 4g. If I turn on my cell phone as a hotspot it is faster than the Hughes net. I got rid of Hughes net and got a broadband card from Verizon and now have great internet. Enough that I can even stream movies if I wanted to.

Replacement system for a 4G system hit by lightning. Easy installation like all their systems. It's has better coverage than the last one and works great in our earth sheltered home. This system is a must for a home like ours. 4-5 bars in our rural area, in essentially a faraday cage.
