Q: TV mount
A: Not at all because of the weight of the stand. When you push the TV back or forward, the TV nor the stand moves at all, except when you adjust the tilt of the TV.
Q: Does the model: BBXLO2250BS come with the top shelf?
A: don't believe you can mount it on top no way to secure it
A: you do not have to drill into the wall although it has the option to mount just on the wall above the stand. Also after the stand is put together with the floating mount it has one anchor they want you to put in the wall to keep it from falling over but i opted not to add any extra holes
