A: Short answer is no. The microwave comes already setup for recirculate the air in the kitchen, but the cabinet has to be less than 14" deep. It's not mandatory to vent it outside or to the roof. Also, it states on the manual that if the microwave gets too hot from the range cooking temperature it will turn the fan automatically until it cools down and can't turn off manually until is safe again.
Q: What is the difference between this low profile and Whirlpool low profile model WML75011HZ?
A: Hello barejewels. Model WML75011HZ has a 3-speed fan and a 400 CFM motor. It has a CleanRelease® Non-Stick Interior and has three other options that are not included with model WML35011KS: English/French language, pause, and Steam. A: The "Light" button cycles the replaceable LED light panel from Off to High to Low. Low is meant to be used as a nightlight. High may not be bright enough for some people.
