Does this unit have a gravity drain? Where does the water from the melted ice go? Does my builder need to install a drain?

Geri, if you do not have a gravity drain set up, you are able to purchase a pump for this model.

Hello EDMKM, this model weighs 96 1/2 pounds. It can be placed on its side. However, we do recommend placing it upright for a full 24 hours before plugging it in. We hope this helps.

I have a 6yr old model WUI75X15HZ00 installed under counter. The icemaker has stopped working. It has a custom panel on the door to match my cabinets. Will this unit accommodate the custom panel if I ordered it as a replacement?
