Very nice refrigerator. Lots of room. Easy to adjust shelves. Does run cold. We had to turn down a little from recommended temp because fridge was too cold. Does run a little loud but not bad. Bigger freezer area than I thought it would be. Crisper bins could be bigger but not bad for us. Love the black exterior. Easy to clean. So far, great refrigerator.

We've had our extra refrigerator now a year and we placed it conveniently in our mud room. Now, no more traipsing out to the garage to retrieve/place something in the overflow fridge. This Whirlpool 20 cf refrigerator/freezer is quiet & is a nice size. We were able to switch the hinges easily to open the door from the left side instead of the right, which was how it arrived from the factory. We opted NOT to install the pull handle, so when we walked past it, we wouldn't catch our clothes on the handle. The one down side is the crisper drawers are made of such flimsy plastic. It's a good thing our kids are grown, because the drawers must be pulled out and pushed in carefully so they don't break. I suppose it's how most residential refrigerators are made nowadays. :( The store employees were great. There was a mix up with my order and i was initially told my order was in, (plus rec'd an email that it was in) then that it wasn't and that it would be delayed significantly. I asked to speak to a manager. When she called me back, she verified that it, indeed, was in & ready for pickup. I would recommend this store and this refrigerator.

It’s a very nice refrigerator, keeps everything nice and cold . I actually had to turn it down from the recommended setting because it was a little bit too cold. I do have one complaint, the crisper drawers. I don’t think really fit quite right in the refrigerator. There is a big gap between the drawer and the shelf where it attaches. Otherwise it’s a beautiful refrigerator.

Its gets very cold which is great. The space in it is wonderful. The only things i didnt like was the amount of space in the door. The seal on the door isnt amazing either. It opens with little to no effort and not in a good way. Other then that it stau cold and we still love it.

It is spacious! We are using it as a second fridge. The black color is nice and you can put magnets. The bottom drawers don't slide easy they are thin plastic. The only advise I can give is not to install it where you don't want to be disturbed by a humming noise. Unfortunately, it is next to my desk and it really bothers me. The humming noise is every hour and lasts for 30 or more minutes. Your quiet time is 1 hour. My 15 year old fridge does not make noises at all. All the other reviews about the noises are true.

The front door, upper area was deeply scratched up. We had to borrow a refrigerator dolly and travel over an hour to pick up the frigerator in a trailer, then get lots of people to help get it into the house. This is why we didn’t return it. It fit well in the space we have and works well but it is sad that my new refrigerator has deep scratches on the front of the door.

Refrigerator had a very small dimple dent. Exterior was a mess cosmetically, I used a mild detergent and rubbed it out. I bought it as a basement refrigerator in my unfinished side of my basement. I would not accepted it for a main kitchen.

I thought it was well worth the price. Best price I could find on the same fridge. Works great. Trying to get used to the door not wanting to shut easily. Got to give it an extra little push sometimes. Over all very satisfied so far. Giving it a 4 because they need to have a little better service as far as loading in truck or trailer and assisting customers with sufficient safe tie down. I was prepared with my straps, but there was a Lady with a teenage boy that they left there on here on trying to tie it down on a trailer with the fridge sitting straight up. I doubt she made it where she was going without it falling off.

This Whirlpool refrigerator is a basic top-freezer that replaced our old one. It has a nice, streamlined, clean look, and the doors are easy to open yet seal tightly. The light inside the fridge is very bright and makes it easy to find products, and the shelves themselves are deep and spacious. I like that the cheese/meat drawer can slide from side to side to reconfigure the space inside. I do wish the fruit and veggie drawers were larger, although the humidity controls have kept the produce fresh longer. It would also be nice if there were 2 spaces in the door for milk gallons. The freezer is also quite spacious. The biggest complaint against this fridge is that it is noisy. It makes whirs and hisses, making it seem like it is breaking or not working properly, but it is apparently just the way it runs, as per other reviews. Overall, it is a nice basic fridge that keeps foods cold and fresh.

Overall I am satisfied with this fridge. It is very much like my old 19-year old fridge, so I like the way it's laid out. What I don't like is that there is no light in the freezer. I wasn't aware that it didn't have a light; seems illogical. It seems to be holding the temperatures well. When I close the door to the refrigerator, I have to make sure it is fully closed because it doesn't always close all the way on its own like the freezer door does.

No frills, just a solid refrigerator that does its job. Plenty of space, the glass shelves are easy to clean, and it runs quiet. Sometimes you just need a reliable fridge without a touchscreen or RFID locks on the water filter.

It's a great refrigerator but there are a few things I realized later about it. First, the freezer doesn't have a light. That's probably not a big deal to anyone, but i was used to having one. Second, it's a little louder than my old one, but I've gotten used to it. That's not really a big deal. It's still pretty quiet, but I'm just comparing it to my old one. Lastly, the lighting in the refrigerator part isn't as bright as i was used to. it's LED so that's probably why. Again, not a big deal. I would recommend this refrigerator if you're looking for this type. It's got plenty of space and works well.

When our 19 year old refrigerator could no longer keep ice cream solid I decided that it was time to shop for a replacement. This refrigerator suited our needs for a decent price. The only thing this one is missing is a lighted freezer but in all other respects this one is very good. Fairly quiet operation, although you may notice that the compressor motor makes a higher pitched sound than an older refrigerator. I like that this one has a smoother surface than the pebbly surface of our old one - it will be much easier to keep clean. We've had it for a couple of months now and I am happy with its operation. I'd recommend this to anyone who needs just a basic refrigerator that will keep things cold without a lot of "bells and whistles".

Our Kenmore refrigerator died during the power surges that accompanied Hurricane Beryl’s outages. (Thank you, CenterPoint Energy!) So, we were desperate to buy a new refrigerator asap and did not have six weeks (yes, six weeks) to wait to receive the one we truly wanted. Whirlpool is well-rated by Consumer Reports, a resource I have trusted for many years, so it was a buyable option. It was not our first choice, but our first choice meant a six-week wait. We purchased ours without an ice maker because we rarely use ice. We have no problem with making ice with the modern silicone molds when we need it. Plus, the freezer without the automatic ice maker has a lot more space for the things we want to keep frozen. My better half especially likes the layout of the drawers in the fridge and the shelves on the door. I like that the crisper and meat drawers are more in the middle and not at the very bottom the way our previous unit were. The bottom door shelf can manage a full half gallon of milk standing up – another feature that I like and that we have not had before. The fit and finish of the inside is excellent. Everything appears to be top quality. The exterior is the fingerprint resistant type. It is not great but it is certainly functional. The temperature controls are easy to read and to use – a big plus. My wife had difficulty with the controls on our previous fridge. Our big unpleasant surprise was to learn that there was no light in freezer section of this model. It never occurred to us that any company would manufacture a refrigerator/freezer without a light in the freezer section. It would be like selling a vehicle without a cabin light. This is a serious strike against this model in my opinion. Other than that one issue, however, we believe that this model will serve us well and faithfully for years to come.
