This fridge/freezer has been such a pain compared to the one we replaced. The freezer does not get cold enough and won’t keep anything frozen. It worked for the first couple of months, but then suddenly just crapped out. The fridge works, but we mainly use it for beverages and can’t fully stock the shelves without running into problems with the door closing!! It’s not worth it to save a little money… we should have just pod a little extra for something better! Don’t buy!

DO NOT BUY. I had this fridge less than a year before water started leaking from the freezer to the fridge getting all my food wet and ruined. I have thrown away so much produce and other foods because of this. Best Buy has a 15 day return policy so no help there either.

Purchased August 2021, stopped working May 2022. Serviced (took 2 weeks to get an appointment), 2 weeks after service, refrigerator at 53 degrees and freezer at 14. Whirlpool will not replace or refund or replace food. Do not purchase!

After nine month of usage, the freezer stopped working and leaked a whole bunch of water out. It is a complete mess with everything defrosted. The fridge have also stopped working. I thought Whirlpool was a great brand, but I the quality of their products have gone down the drain since then.

Have the refrigerator for 6 months. The freezer and fridge stopped maintaining temperature. Threw out the food in the freezer. Then it started maintaining temperature again. Now however, seems to be on the way out again. Temps rising.

Thought I was getting a deal but I feel stuck with a chunk of junk. Freeeeezer freezes well, if not too much and the refrigerator dies not keep cool. I had several service request fulfilled and still not fixed.

Compressor broke after 3 months. Terrible product. Between BestBuy and Whirlpool service is awful. Try living without a fridge for 3 weeks. Still waiting for replacement or fix.

Hunk of Junk! Don't Buy! You have 15 days to examine and then you are stuck with it when you purchase from Best Buy. Freezer frosts up full of ice and the refrigerator does not keep anything cold. All the items in the refrigerator part had to be thrown away and I cannot put anything in it without it spoiling. Have followed all the manufacturer setting guidelines. Noticed the door does not seal and close very well on either refrigerator or freezer. This is a $600 item to be thrown out and I have to start over. Food does not stay cold in refrigerator at all. If you want a small, expensive, Freezer then this would be the one

This refrigerator has been horrible. Bought it in August 2021. First, anything in the back of the fridge gets frozen. Second, by March 2022, water started leaking all over our fridge because the drain hole was broken. Beneath the fruit basket and across every shelf would be covered with water. Because the fridge freezes everything, the water would turn to a thin layer of ice. It took two visits from an appliance maintenance company to fix it. Third, the motor is now broken, so neither the fridge nor freezer is working. We will be at least a week without a working refrigerator and all of the food we had is now wasted. Save your money and your time; do not buy this fridge. Wish I could attach a video so you could see how much water would pool at the bottom of the fridge. Waiting to see if Best Buy or Whirlpool will replace or exchange my fridge.

This fridge looks great and has decent storage for being a smaller friedge, but I was surprised whirlpool decided to act up. The fridge does not cool great. The worst part is the opening from the freezer to the fridge freezes over causing freezer burn and a warm fridge. I have had to turn my fridge off and let it defrost for 24hours about 6 times within the first 3 months of purchasing. Customer service for the item is also the worst. If you can get another fridge for the same price, take it. This one is just for looks apparently.

I'm so tired of this fridge. Constantly having temperature issues, the magnet to close the doors are not strong enough so once you close it doesn't stick so you have to give it another push. It leaks water from the back of the fridge coming from the freezer. The freezer always has temperature issues also. I regret buying this product.

What a waste of my money. The doors pop open if you close one, the other opens. I have lost more than one freezer full of food because I don't realize the freezer opened when I put something away in the refrigerator. I can only get things to freeze if it is on the max setting. I've had it too long to return it (8 months) or I would. Look elsewhere, don't waste your money on this poorly made refrigerator.

This model was a real stinker. It leaked badly just weeks after we received it. Water everywhere inside the fridge, and all over the floor. Eventually it just stopped cooling entirely. All told it lasted a bit over one year before we decided to have it hauled away. We've had two bad experiences in a row with Whirlpool refrigerators. The quality isn't what it used to be. We won't be coming back to this brand.

Awful. Do not buy this refrigerator. I bought it to use as a spare in the basement (fully climate controlled.) It is inconsistent and the shelves constantly fills with water. Not just a small amount that should have evaporated. Both shelves fill or have large puddles. It is not a genetic off brand and I expected better performance. There has never been anything in the fridge that would have clogged the drainage/evaporation hole. I have tried every solution possible including a full defrost. It seems to get really bad if a large quantity of groceries are added. Even though the shelves fill up, the bottom under the drawer is always dry. I initially thought it was user error and we were trying to put too much in given it's size. Given that the return period is up, we just make sure the small amount of food we actually keep in it packaged in plastic. I will add photos the next time it fills.

If you plan on reversing the door, do NOT buy this unit. The seal will not work when you reverse the door. Poorly designed and engineered, but I guess you get what you paid for.

What a piece of trash company. Everything from the fridge to the customer service has been a nightmare. This fridge stopped working only 3 months after buying it. I've been living with a tiny mini fridge for the past 3 months. They are not in a hurry to replace your fridge under the manufacture warranty. This company has gone down the drain like a giant WHIRLPOOL.

Disappointed to say the least. Purchased the refrigerator in Dec 2020 and 16 months later, the freezer completely freezes over and the refrigerator wont stay cold....of course, it is out of warranty after 12 months.
