I spared no expense on new appliances for my new house. I bought this range in stainless on 9/28/22. I was broiling the other day and, since the door was open, the knobs melted showing a cheap, shriveled plastic coating covering the knobs. This should not happen on a stove coating over $2000. I am very disappointed at the ultra-low quality of these parts. Whirlpool Customer Service refused to replace the knobs even though there was no warning about this problem and the range was under normal use. They cost $60 each. Outrageous

I have purchased 2 ranges from Best Buy since March 2024. Both broke. The first one couldn’t be fixed. They sent me a Whirlpool this time with similar features as the GE. I had it serviced once and it worked for a little while, but it broke again just in time for the holidays. I’ll have waited about 3 weeks before they can repair the oven. Needless to say, I’m still waiting for the parts to arrive. Maybe I’ll get to bake my desserts and Turkey Dinner next week? It seems as though the big issue with getting this new oven fixed is getting the parts for it. There is no heat when you turn on the oven. My suggestion for anyone reading tjis review is to have your appliances checked before the holidays even if they are brand new as in my case. Imagine having 2 nee ovens in 1-1/2 years.

I purchased this range in February 2025 and have had the a whirlpool technician come out 5 times to fix the oven. The oven just stops igniting in the middle of baking. This is random and doesn't do it every time. The technician has now replaced all of the parts in the oven, the control panel and we still have this problem. I called Whirlpool to ask them to replace the range and was told that only a master certified technician can do that, and they made an appointment for the technician to come out.

Stove looks good!! The bottom drawer is cheap and doesn’t seem to close all the way. Only two settings on knobs High and Low no in between!! Only Owned it for less then a year and already had the main boar go out on me and also the board that controls the oven. If you’re buying this stove buy the extended warranty you’ll need it!! Also the WiFi connection on it is useless!! I can’t connect the stove with my internet to save my life so you’re paying extra for something that is useless. Whirlpool use to make a solid product had a stove that lasted over 15 years only reason I went back to them!! Also bought a 3000 dollar whirlpool fridge and same thing already having problems with it!!! I don’t recommend it!!!!!!

DO NOT PURCHASE APPLIANCES REQUIRING PROFESSIONAL INSTALLATION FROM BEST BUY. We purchased gas oven and conversion kit for propane. Unfortunately Best Buy’s subcontractor installed incorrectly and unknowingly we breathed toxic/poisionius gases for several months. Not sure how severe medical issues are at this point. Have tried for a year to get Best Buy to correct situation but they hide behind their policies and their subcontractor.

This oven is absolute garbage. The screen constantly has display issues yet when someone comes out to repair them they magically fix themselves. It doesn't cook evenly in the oven and the burners are so inconsistent. The convection feature also doesn't work the way it does with superior brands. It's meant to circulate air and provide a more even bake and instead just blackens the bottom of every pan. Also it is NOT self cleaning. There's a bogus "steam cleaning" feature that provides exactly zero cleaning to the unit (all while taking HOURS and heating your home into oblivion). Unless you love to scrub your oven constantly this isn't the one for you. I cannot wait to replace this piece of garbage.

Do not buy this oven. It’s a pretty oven but if you going to cook a lot in it do not buy. It will burn the main board as the touch screen panel is on the same level as the burners. This oven only lasted 2 years. And to fix is very expensive. If you do get this oven I would strongly suggest to purchase insurance on the side.

I went with Whirlpool appliances because of their reputation. I was wrong. The drawer on the stove doesn’t close all the way and looks obviously crooked. I was told to call Whirlpool which I did. Repair person came out and said it was the rails. Ordered parts. Next repair person came and installed new rails. Drawer is still crooked and won’t shut. Repair person said it can’t be fixed. Tried fir 2 days to get Whirlpool on the phone-nothing. This stove is barely a month old. I put it on by Best Buy charge and haven’t even made the first payment yet!

The new range has up to this time has not been use. tested. The operation of the burners will not light at times. They will sometimes light, and other times not light or there is a delay to light. Its a long enough time that I start spelling gas, I haven't connected repair yet. The kitchen is in the remodeling stage. Not too happy.

Problems with oven. It displays a code. Called Whirpool they sent a repairman. He said it needs a new circuit board. Very disappointed as I only had 2 weeks. Now I’m waiting on parts for a brand new stove!

This is a good looking range that failed the first time within the first few months of use. The issue is that the logic board is just under the cooktop and if any pot boils over, any liquid that leaks down will fry the logic board. We got this for thanksgiving. By June it failed and the logic board was replaced under warranty. A few weeks ago we think a pot of pasta boiled over and now it’s failed again. $300 part and the repair tech wants 2 hours to replace, meaning it is almost $700 repair. Stupid. Cool looking on the outside but terrible design on the inside.

No.....no, no, no. Touchscreen panel will run you $650 minimum and touchscreens don't like heat. Check the prices for part #W11339755. Ours lasted less than 5 years. Now the best move is to drop $1200 rather than keep this garbage running.

Gave one star because I couldn’t go lower. We have had this range for two years and two months.. the time resets every night. The display is unresponsive now, so you can’t use the oven. We bought whirlpool because we have loved their appliances in the past but now they are garbage. We also had issues with our whirlpool fridge, they had to fix the seal on our freezer door twice! We lost all the food in our freezer the first time and had to buy a deep freezer. Our whirlpool dishwasher is broken as well, you can’t pull out the top shelf. We bought all the appliances 11/2018

I've had whirlpool products for the last 20 years. Only had minor issues with their older appliances which started around the 8 year mark. I consider that great. We replaced our 20 yr old appliances with the new ones which included this range, microwave, dishwasher and fridge. A few months in the microwave got stuck with an hour glass on the display and no matter what we did it wouldn't go away. It took whirlpool 2 month to fix the issue under warranty. Now, about a year later our range is having the same issue. Only now our appliances are out of warranty. I used to be a huge whirlpool fan but now these appliances are so "smart" that they're unreliable and are going on strike.
