Zero stars (put one assuming some rating required) 40 mins to cook pasta - water just won’t boil 19 mins to barely start boiling (burner continuously on/off/on/off/on/off/on/off - annoying) Went through factory to get service tech & turns out it’s normal, just a combination of energy efficiency improvement regulations mandated on manufacturers by the federal government (think green and slow) and safety features (because apparently some people like to leave their burners on forever). We went back to our 1983 GE coil type burner range - heavy rolling boil in 6 mins pasta ready in 8. Disclaimer: I did NOT want to leave a review in this product but Best Buy would not let it be and just kept pestering me with the “we want your opinion” messages so here we are.

Poor quality, not worth the price, misaligned bottom drawer, silicone on the edge of the stove, damage to both back corners of the stove. This stove is of poor quality. Now I have to waste my time returning this stove.

It won’t stop filling the house up with Smoke every time I use the air fryer or the convection part of the oven. They told me it would do that for the first few times, but I have used it nine times now and I have to air the house out completely with the doors open and fans on before I can go to bed when I use it for dinner. I’m going to have to go and find another oven. This isn’t going to work.

Delays on getting the range. Fan motor made horrible noises, oven racks sagged with any type of weight on them.

The range works great. Though, don’t expect BB to honor their price match or price protection policy. They lowered their price within two weeks of my purchase by almost $100.00. I phoned and after several additional phone calls they’re still jerking me around. After close to a month and speaking with multiple “ team associates “ they’re saying the best they can do now is a gift card. Lol

I was told this was available for delivery on Feb. I was then told there was a delay and I had to reschedule. I rescheduled for March. Now I have been notified again that there is a delay. So they get their money and then string me along. Thi is ridiculous.

I wish I never bought this range. I plan to replace it soon. My twenty-year-old electric range cooked great, but the control panel was damaged and not replaceable. Still, I wish I had it back. 1. This range does not broil. We love a well broiled steak. That is impossible with this range. The range will not heat unless the door is closed. It has a "boil" setting, but with the door closed it bakes the steak. The instructions say to "pre-heat" for two minutes when broiling. That only heats the oven to bake the steak. 2. Pre-heat times are much longer than the buzzer says. When we first started baking with this oven, we wondered why everything was undercooked. Answer: the oven is not pre-heated when it says it is! We tested "baking" at 350 degrees several times and found that on average, the buzzer said preheated at 9 minutes, but it took 19 minutes to get to 350. When the buzzer alarmed it was only 270 degrees. No wonder our food was undercooked. Whirlpool sent a technician to test the oven. He said this was "normal." We now do not rely on the buzzer to tell us when the oven is preheated. We have an alert posted on our Maytag refrigerator with actual preheat times. 3. Alarm on timer not loud or long enough. The timer on the range is not loud enough to hear unless you are in the kitchen. If you have an exhaust fan running and are in the next room, you could easily miss it. Neither the volume nor duration of the timer is adjustable. We do not use the timer on the range. We always use a separate timer. 4. Frozen Bake setting does not work. The idea is great. Put frozen food in the oven without preheating - set the timer for the cook time on the package - the oven will measure/calculate how long to cook it. The reality is the oven's preheat calculations are wrong (see above) so this just does not work (we wanted/hoped it would so we tried it twice). 5. Manual. The eight-page range manual and one page Air Fry instructions are not included. Downloading the PDF is not difficult, but it would have been nice if Whirlpool included a note telling you they exist and where to find them online.

DONT BUY THIS RANGE! Had this range less than 2 years. Digital panel went out $385 and element $200. Bottom drawer does not slide in and out and never has. Our repair man even said Whirlpool isn’t what it was.
