We finally decided to replace our 12 year old Whirlpool, basic, electric coil range with what we thought would be a new and improved Whirlpool model but were disappointed time and time again. The induction top gets extremely hot and stays hot even after the burners have been off for a significant amount of time. I saw no difference in time when it came to using the oven's convection feature but did notice a decent time increase for basic functions such as boiling water on the stove top. The final straw was when halfway through making dinner the range and oven both stopped getting hot which lead to me throwing out a whole dinner that was unsalvageable. I lucked out and this happened on day 13 after the delivery so I was able to get a 100% refund minus the install fee I paid. Not range related but I believe we were sold a floor/demo model because the range showed up with numerous scuffs/marks/scratches and they did not offer a replacement when we called to inform them about the range no longer working. The guys from XPO Logistics that did the install were punctual and extremely efficient.

We finally replaced our original ~20 year old Whirlpool range with this new model and are not overly impressed. The glass top is much harder to clean/maintain and the oven is much slower to heat up. Also, it would be nice if the “hot surface cooktop” indicator specified which burner(s) were still hot. Older models made it easier to decipher. Also, the drawer is much flimsier than the older models. Just makes me feel like the quality has gotten worse over the years and I wish I could just re-buy my old model from 20 years ago.

I have been a loyal customer with Whirlpool for years but when I purchased this stove I am very disappointed. I don't like the features of the timer and the burners. Instead of being able to touch the number pad this one requires you to use arrows to set the timer. The timer isn't very loud when it does go off so unless you are standing by the stove you can barely hear it when it goes off. There wasn't a manual to explain some of the new features on the stove and I had to call the help line to request information be sent to help me figure out how to use some of the features. Overall, Whirlpool isn't what it use to be and I regret purchasing this stove because the quality is inferior. I had to buy a timer so I could hear when what I am cooking or baking is done. The panel is dark & not easy to read. The black stove top shows every little smudge so I am constantly cleaning it. I wish I could get my old stove back. It was user friendly and performs so much better than this one!

Whirlpool Stove is a nice design and looks beautiful but I had to return it as it took too long to preheat.

Bought this range about a month ago. It has some great features, air fry and convection, that I have never had before. Unfortunately, there are no manuals on how to use them. The only thing that was in the box with the range was an installation manual and a quick start manual. Went to Whirlpool and they show no documentation on the range.
