Works as advertised and quickly gets humidity to the desired level. Humidity indicator is generally within 5 percent of the Accurite one nearby. A little on the loud side but this isn't a deal breaker.

The bucket has an 8.5 pint capacity, not 8.5 quarts, as is stated in the specs. I returned the item because I needed something with a larger capacity. Otherwise the item worked fine. It would be most suitable for a small space.

This 30 pint Whirlpool dehumidifier is highly effective in a 400 square foot room with cathedral ceiling. BUT this unit [WHAD301CW] does not have a handle for the water bucket even though the bucket has a handle bracket built into it. It is very, very awkward to empty the bucket. Whirlpool customer service was not able to resolve the issue. I would recommend buying a different unit.

Hello, unfortunately, the smaller 20 and 30-pint dehumidifiers do not come with a handle.

I looked a lots of reviews - this seemed to have some of the best, but I am disappointed. First, the convenience handle on te bucket was missing. Second, although it does remove water from the air and it does automatically shut off when the bucket is full, it does not appear to be shutting off when the programmed humidity level is reached; it just keeps running until the bucket is full. I'm thinking of returning it.

I used it to lower the humidity in a 9x12 room to remove moisture from honey. Iran it on high fan and 35% setting. Itook a few hours but it lowered the humidity to 33% as measured on the unit and a seperate monitor. After a few days of running wide open it lowered the mositure level in the honey. The honey was still in the frames some uncapped.

Using this device in a RV. It sucks the moisture out of the air fast. I wake up in the morning with chapped lips now. I love this thing

It works great. The only thing I dont like about it is kinda loud with the fan. Other than that everything works well. Mich better than the other brand i had.

This unit works really good the only thing I wish is the “bucket” was a little bigger to hold mor water but it’s quiet and easy to use

Works well for a smaller unit. Helps to keep my office area dry and warmer during winter months.

Dehumidifier works great for my sewing room--room dimensions are 14' wide and 30' feet long.

Bought this Whirlpool 30 Pint Dehumidifier in Sept 2023. The last few weeks it has not been working well. The radiator on the back of the unit is freezing up and has a thick layer of frost on it. It only runs intermittently and I clean the filter regularly. The unit is past the return date. I would not purchase this again.

We connected it with a hose, so we don't have to empty the bucket.

It leaks. A lot. They also didn’t attach the handle that's supposed to be on the bucket. I'm disabled, so that's been fun. It's pretty much what I've come to expect from large companies. I'd go with another company next time.

This product worked well until it hit the 2 year mark and my humidity control sensor went (assuming due to code). What a shame considering my Frigidaire and GE are still working several years later. Whirlpool products to include my washing machine never make it past 2 years.
