It has been a year since I purchased this item. Generally, I love it because it enhances the general look of my not-so-modern kitchen. My one concern would be the ice-maker/water amenities. I am not sure if it's a people problem or a product problem. The water element light is on right now even though we just installed a new water purifier. The ice tray stopped working recently. I have put in an order for service for that. The bottom doesn't look like its well put together, but I do not put a lot of focus on that. I really like this refrigerator, just wanted to mention some of my concerns.

I get tons of compliments on the color! The black stainless is nice. Fingerprint resistant it’s really not. It has 3 drawers on the fridge side which I don’t even know what to put in there. Would rather it be a shelf. The freezer is normal for a side by side. I only wish the ice maker was quieter when giving ice. It’s LOUD. And the water dispenser part is in front of the ice maker and every single time I get water it drips all down the front. Otherwise I do like smaller ice size. Seems to make them faster. My last whirlpool lasted forever. Let’s hope this one does too.

It is noisy. Motor cycles on frequently even though not frequently opening door. It is roomy and bright light inside makes it easy to see.

The fridge works but there’s a few things that are really, really annoying. The drawers don’t slide, they grind in and out. The shelves are not adjustable and at such a height that you can’t stand a bottle of water, stack 2 yogurt, or even two cans of soda. On the water dispenser it is made in such a way anything other than the standard cup cannot easily get ice. Oh, and they put the temperature controls where the ice maker controls are so everyone a kid gets ice the settings are changed.

This ref was delivered Sept 20th with doors not aligned. Accdg to delivery guy, this can be adjusted From the leg once the ref has been set up to where it should be located. Doors are at least half an inch off on top. Have reported this defect to Cus Service who will send tech on Oct 19th. Hopefully this can be corrected … otherwise a replacement is necessary. The ref has not been installed & just sitting in my living area as works in kitchen are still in progress.

For the sale price it's okay. Creates lots of moisture salads don't last more than 3 days. Very slow at making ice cubes. The switch to make ice is well hidden and hard access. You need to pull the ice box half way if you are tall to turn on or off. Otherwise is a pain.

No adjustable shelves Ice maker sprays ice Water spout is in a separate location above ice dispencer. Its necessary to reposition your glass fot each.

Great fridge but noticed a few bumps and scratches as if they gave me a used one...

This refrigerator was average +, though the price was very reasonable at around $1100 on sale. I would give it 3 1/2 stars. I had expected a little more, considering the reviews were pretty good. I will say that the frig works fine and looks good (though doesn’t quite have that solid look of the higher end refrigerators – but of course, it is less than half the price of the higher end products). Some people had said that the frig was noisy, but I find it quiet. However, do note: I did not hook up the ice maker or water line, so I don’t know if the ice maker is noisy. What I don’t like is that the shelves are not adjustable, nor do any pull out. (only the door shelves are adjustable). Unless you keep your milk or other gallon jugs on the door, they will only fit on the top shelf, and since I am 5’ 2 ½”, I find it a little uncomfortable to maneuver because it’s a little too high. Also, the bins don’t slide in and out easily– they seem cheap and flimsy. Another issue is that this refrigerator at just under 25cu ft., feels smaller than the one I replaced which was only 23.5 cu ft. I do have the same issue that some others noted, that when you open the door, the frig can move forward a little. I find that I can avoid this by either placing my other hand on the opposite door, or placing my thumb on the opposite door handle when I open the frig. This lightly braces the frig so it doesn’t move. Bottom-line: if you are looking for a reasonably priced refrigerator, I think this is fine, though don’t expect it to compare to a top of the line frig.

I am disappointed in the final set up where the feet of this fridge show wires and plates......very unsightly. The feet should have a cover to not let these display. Am I missing parts?? Have had this two weeks and the fridge itself is big and roomy and happy to have gone back to side-by-side. French door is not for me with bottom freezer where you can't see anything as all are piled up. Whirlpool needs to improve final look of this refrigerator!

This refrigerator works well, but unfortunately it does not have the same storage space of the previous model that I owned. The cubic space is the same, but the setup of storage in the unit is not as effectively used. Space in the freezer side is limited in contrast to the previous model (side compartments), access to get ice from the ice maker is more difficult, the ice cubes have been changed so they are now larger (which I do not care for) and one of the storage bins in the refrigerator size is smaller. The water dispenser also does not reflect the ounces disbursed like the previous model. As a whole the refrigerator works well. I just prefer the previous model as I feel it was a bit more user friendly

Replaced my 15 yr old Whirlpool refrigerator with this one. Pros: Like the fingerprint resistant stainless steel, good depth, cools/freezes well. Cons: It took 12 hours for the 1st bacth of ice to drop and almost a week for the ice maker to fill (with basic usage); the water dispenser is just above the ice dispenser so we are constantly shooting out water when trying to get ice; also, the water does not dispense cold; the shelves are not adjustable but the door storage can be adjusted. Overall satisfied.

This refrigerator makes noises several times a day when the engine kicks on. Last for about 30-40 seconds. It is annoying. I was tempted to call and return it for another. However, I thought the whole process of shopping and buying another and getting this taken back and a new one installed was too much bother. So, I kept it. The price was good and it works really well. Looks good. Fits in the space available. But that noisy engine. I gave it average quality because of the noise. I can't recommend it.

I love it -EXCEPT - for how noisy it is! The noise is constant, it only stops when you open the door. I don’t know if it’s the compressor, or not- but it’s driving me crazy. It is a constant humming sound similar to a range hood or bathroom fan running; it’s so annoying. Otherwise, great purchase- it’s attractive, it makes ice quickly (no problem with the ice maker), the temperature of the fridge and freezer are maintained perfectly and it has wonderful shelf and door storage. I really love it- but just can’t tolerate the noise.

Beautiful looking in my kitchen. Good space in both the fridge and freezer. I LOVE the beverage holder. Heres why i only gave it a three...after about an hour after plugging it in, it started making the most dreadful sound! I finally figured out that it was the ice maker. It sounds as if it is all cranked a bit too tight, so when it is ready to dump the ice, you get to listen to what sounds like finger nails down a chalk board and then back up and this goes on all day! If your bedroom is near the kitchen, you will hear this all night too! I was hoping it would work itself out, but after 3 weeks, it is time for a call to service. I pray it can be fixed because i really like everything else about the fridge. If this issue can be resolved, then my rating would change to a 5 out of 5 stars.

Great value for a first time home buyer, has limited freezer storage due to the icemaker. Compressor does cycle/humming a bit loud but not overbearing. Temperature stays where it needs to be havent had any issues yet. Would have given 4 stars but the design on the water/ice dispenser was different.

Unfortunately our refrigerator went out in the middle of the pandemic. We had to purchase a new one and be able to bring it home the same day. After looking at three different stores, we found this one at Best Buy. It literally was the last refrigerator they had in stock. because delivery was going to take approximately 10 days, it's two of us finagled t home. The refrigerator has very clean lines and standard shelf organization. Two issues we have with it are the indoor ice maker sometimes works, sometimes does not. Also, top shelf in the freezer does not extend all the way to the back, resulting in items falling off the back of the shelf. Looking at the design, we assume it is to keep the air flow going in the freezer but wish it had been engineered better so it did not have this issue. They've only had the refrigerator 2 weeks so can't give long-term reviews

About 3-4 months in and would rather have gotten a fridge. Ice maker is a lot louder than my old fridge when getting ice so I end up reaching in at night to keep from waking my toddler and his room is on the other side of the house. Ice is constantly getting stuck in the trap so it melts and drips into the tray below. My daytime routine is to get ice and open the door to see if any got stuck and then get water. The water doesn't come out cold except the first half glass in the morning. I didn't realize how I had taken cold fridge water for granted. The design makes it easier to fill a big cup like a yeti BUT we forever have drip lines going down the front of the fridge because of the design. I'm not one to be overly worried about a few smears but it does annoy me but not as bad as the ice getting stuck.
