Purchased this unit as part of a major remodel, along with a Whirlpool dishwasher and cooktop. This unit has great storage and for the most part, I love it. However, I have great concern of a couple things--primary concern is the occasional really loud noise that sounds very much like a bad compressor. It doesn't happen everyday, but when it does, it has my attention. Another concern--items in the front (pizza storage) of the freezer door do not seem to freeze as much as it should be; freezing is not uniform in this drawer. I lowered the freezer temp to -3F. Last concern/comment is about the water/ice lever: a tremendous amount of pressure must be used here to dispense water/ice. This unit was installed a little less than 4 months ago, and am now wondering if I made a poor choice. I have always been a fan of Whirlpool products, but $3K+ warrants a better product.

I've had a few issues with this refrigerator. The ice from the ice machine melts or the machine stops producing ice. Also, the fridge doesn't stay cold intermittently and it has been a little over a year of buying it.

first model we received was very loud so we had it replaced 1 week later and now works great. shipping upright is a must!!

We like the fridge and has so much usable space but the Ice maker is broke and the turn around time to get it fixed is looking like 6 weeks. That’s really sad, if It wasn’t so hard to get in my house I would return it

I loved my Whirlpool refrigerator at first. But, over time, the middle drawer for my fruits and vegetables gets frost build up in the back that causes the produce inside to freeze. Then, rather than help it last longer, the flavor is lost. Not very happy.

Just small issues with ice maker. After non use for 2 weeks, ice was one big block in dispenser.

Originally I wanted a Samsung, which I bought, but then, when it was delivered, the delivery personnel stated that it would not fit. We replaced it with another refrigerator, an alternate replacement, again, it would have not fitted where we had measured it. Ultimately, the delivery people helped tremendously, and were able to install it through an alternate entrance, but with an extreme effort in their part. But, they did state, that the original refrigerator we purchased, would have entered through the original entrance that I had intended.

I don't think the french door style with multiple doors is convenient. We always find ourselves looking for things by having to open different doors or drawers. But that's just my opinion. Where this refrigerator gets 3 stars is the door alarm, it won't sound unless the door or freezer drawer is clearly open. But if its half an inch, nothing. Also sometimes if you open both refrigerator doors at the same time the lip of left door won't spring back, so when you go to close doors, the lip will slam up against the other door making a nasty sound.

Everything turned out great. Especially after the first refrigerator was delivered damaged.

It appears the freezer door seal is not sealing properly and there is water forming at the top of the freezer.

Horrible engineering flaw in freezer top drawer hard to open.

I’m very happy with my refrigerator, has plenty of room just like I expected.

It’s a nice refrigerator but we’re still trying to get used to the shelving space.
