A: The low setting is still fairly hot. When I cook rice I have to remove the pot for 3-5 minutes to adjust. But it depends on the burner. If you use a smaller burner then you won’t have that issue but the big ones are hot

A: Hi Jhlc. In case of prolonged power failure, the surface burners can be lit manually. Hold a lit match near a burner and turn knob counterclockwise to LITE. After burner lights, turn knob to setting. We hope this helps.

Good and functional buy!
We bought this to replace our broken stove and it has exceeded our expectations. The rapid and even heating of pots and pans is truly impressive. It's user-friendly, easy to clean, and offers a spacious cooking area for large pots and pans.

Great Gas Range – Clean, Efficient, and Reliable!
I recently got the Whirlpool 5.1 Cu. Ft. Freestanding Gas Range, and I am really happy with it! The clean, sleek white design looks great in my kitchen and is surprisingly easy to keep clean—the edge-to-edge cooktop makes wiping up spills a breeze. Cooking on this range has been a great experience. The burners heat up quickly and cook evenly, making meal prep super efficient. The oven does run a little hot, but that doesn’t bother me—I just adjust my baking times accordingly. Overall, this is a fantastic gas range that’s both functional and stylish.
