It offers just the right density to create a pleasing long exposure effect in virtually any conditions. For those looking to create truly ethereal images, the Blackstone ND 10 Stops filter is a true long exposure filter. It enables photographers to capture misty water, ethereal clouds, and effectively blur-out people from crowded urban areas. What sets Blackstone ND filters apart is their 100% neutral and 100% resolution feature. Unlike legacy dye-based ND filters that suffer from serious color cast, Blackstone ND filters represent a significant advancement in ND filter technology. They feature the next generation of Vapor Deposition Coated (VDC) technology, which is perfectly neutral across all spectrums of light, including UV and IR. This ensures high-resolution images with zero diffusion effect. The Blackstone Infrared ND Filter is made with fire-polished Schott Ultra White Glass, renowned for its crystal-like appearance and extremely high transmittance across the visible light spectrum. This ultra-white optical glass features an extremely flat, fire-polished surface to eliminate any visible distortions caused by surface imperfections. Designed and extensively tested on high megapixel Phase One cameras, Blackstone ND filters are capable of resolving light at a sufficient resolution, even for cameras regularly resolving 40+ to 50+ megapixels and medium format cameras at 100 megapixels. In line with Wine Country Camera's mission to provide the most innovative products for photographers, the Blackstone Infrared ND Filter is made with the finest materials, ensuring it's not just a tool, but a valuable addition to your photography kit.
