About This Item
Wusthof Classic Hollow Ground Santoku The newly updated Wusthof Classic Hollow Ground Santoku is a versatile, all-purpose blade prized for its precise cutting. The deep blade glides through foods and holds a straight line while chopping and slicing vegetables and raw or cooked boneless proteins. The Granton edge design creates air pockets that reduce drag and water adhesion, resulting in cleaner slices with less food sticking to the blade. The blade is ground thinner with a 10° bevel per side for a fine, razor-sharp edge. Ideal for fruit, vegetable, and boneless protein prep; not recommended for hard winter squashes, frozen foods, or bones. Features the updated Trident logo on the handle and blade. Hand washing is recommended. Made in Solingen, Germany, with Wusthof’s lifetime warranty. Features: Ideal for chopping, slicing, mincing, and dicing vegetables. Exceptional performance, balance, and comfort. Tempered to 58° Rockwell C. Precision-forged from a single blank of high carbon stainless steel. Triple-riveted, impact-resistant polypropylene handle that resists fading or staining. Edges hand-finished at 14° per side for sharp, effortless performance.
