James McAvoy really deserves more credit as a great actor. His portrayal of the young Charles Xavior is truely outstanding. Such a likable, realistic character... in fact, this movie has a great all around cast with so many likable characters... old and new. Gotta love Quicksilver (played by Evan Peters) who is hilarious and has one of the best scenes of the movie when breaking in/out of the Pentagon. Watching the personalities of these characters interact with eachother really makes for great entertainment... not just in comedic moments, but serious moments as well. It is something you can watch over and over. Captivating story, great dialogue, mesmerizing visuals.... completely entertaining from start to finish. Another exceptional movie in the X Men series They just seem to get better and better. Highly recommend!!!

Great movie!!! The storyline was well written putting together the old and new cast in one X-men movie. This x-men movie is separate from all the others in regards to having a very different backend story from your typical villain and hero going head to head in a comic universal movie.

Worth all the money for just the "Time in a bottle" sequence. You'll know what I'm talking about when you see it. I always watch 3D movies in as dark a room as possible, this movie POPS!

I bought all the previous X-Men movies, so I saw this one out of obligation. It was better than I expected. To me it had enough potential for repeat-viewing enjoyment that I purchased it. When it was on sale, and with a rewards certificate, it was worth buying.

It kept me very interested in watching and the action never stopped. I found myself wanting more and afraid I might miss something and loose track of what point I was at.

The movie is good. The 3D version is OK .. I enjoyed the rewatch. The 3D ultimate edition only includes the theatrical version .. NO Rogue cut included. Purchased on sale for $10 .. great deal at the price point.

I WAS VERY EXCITED THEN DISAPPOINTED AFTER PURCHASING. INTERJECTING ROGUE INTO THE MAIN ROLE DID NOTHING FOR THE FILM. TOO LONG AND NOT PROGRESSIVE AT ALL. ALSO, THERE WERE MAJOR STORY ISSUES THAT OVERLAPPED AND PRODUCED ERRONEOUS CONTRADICTIONS IN THE STORY. I WOULD RECOMMEND BECAUSE YOU NEED IT FOR THE MARVEL COLLECTION.

Same movie, I’m glad I waited for this movie to get cheap $5 was not bad, cause if I would’ve paid the $19.99 on it I would be mad cause I hardly noticed anything new to this movie. I thought Rogue version was going to have more scenes, but NO I’m very disappointed on this version.

Xmen Days of Future Past 'Rogue Cut' is is a slightly different (longer) edit of the theatrical release. Though the Rogue Cut is by no means bad, I personally felt the theatrical cut is the better film. It's more focused and concentrates on the central plot points. Rogue Cut adds dialogue between some of the minor characters, and unnecessary dialogue among the lead characters... it doesn't contribute to the main storyline, nor does it really help character development. Also, note that Fox studio has begun re-issuing some recent Bluray releases. The older print (2014/2015) comes with an ITunes digital-HD code, which redeems as 4K/UHD. The newer Bluray release (2018) comes with a MoviesAnywhere digital-HD code -- it only redeems as HD (not 4K/UHD.) If this is important to you, make sure to inspect the back-cover of the Bluray -- if it says "MoviesAnywhere", then it's the newer (less desirable) print.

Days of Future Past is one of the top-tier X-Men films. This movie does a commendable job of connecting both the original trilogy and the First Class cast into one film. Even though this movie really messed up the timeline (and makes it hard to watch the X-Men films in anything other than the release order), it still has solid acting and a decent script. The action set-pieces are good and everything seems to click. The Rogue Cut is a nice, longer version that completes the narrative a bit better. It has more content and even some completely altered scenes. The differences helped make the film easier and more fun to watch. The audio in Rogue Cut also seemed different, as I was able to hear slight changes in pre-existing scenes.

I have always liked the older X-Men movies (hey, the MCU wasn't around back then, Bub...!), and this one combines stars of both past and present, so seeing Wolverine but also Storm, Jean Grey, Magneto, and Cyclops, and even the original Beast was a great bonus. Storyline was also well executed, having a bit of U.S. history going along with the plot. I wish the MCU will be able to incorporate this kind of crossover to bring all the fans back into how the comics are to be portrayed on the big screen...!!!

Without giving any spoilers, the movie shows a version where Rogue has more screen time and a more significant role than the theatrical version. If you like the original, you should enjoy this slightly altered version.

The extra footage changed the dynamics of the movie in a great way. It’s worth buying. Plus it looks fantastic in a 4K upscale. All in all great flick with a great look. Let’s not forget you get a digital code as well

I watched this 2014 movie a while back as a rental and liked it a lot. It's action packed, it has a good story line (if you're OK with time travel) and featured younger version of the main characters. In my opinion, this movie is the best of all the X-Men movies and it's the only X-Men movie that I own on disc. Highly recommended.
