Customers are impressed with the Speedster MERC310's performance and the large amount of VRAM, finding it offers great value for the price. While some users note the card's large size may be incompatible with smaller PC cases, and that ray tracing performance is not as strong as competing products, many appreciate its generally cool and quiet operation. The build quality is also frequently praised.
7900 XTX XFX is a great card for its price to performance ratio. On Direct X 12 games or most modern titles, ultra settings, 1080p 240hz, you’re looking at 160-200 fps generally. On Cyberpunk 2077, 89 fps with ray-tracing on, 220 with ray-tracing off, still with max settings. 30 fps with ray and path tracing. 75 Celsius max temps for both, which is extremely cool for that work load. On 4k monitor, frames back down to 67 fps but that’s expected since it’s a high resolution. Pair with any AMD 3D cache cpu and you’re going to get a real work horse when it comes to high resolution gaming or high frames for 1080p if you’re not into 1440p or 4k. Pretty gaming aside now we dip into competitive gaming which is generally in the 1080p/240hz realm with most comp player setups. 20GBs is no joke with ultra settings on, with it off you’re there’s zero issue on DX12. It’s like asking a race horse if it can walk down the road. In Fortnite it is most stable using DirectX 12, however pay attention to what AMD reddit is saying whenever a new driver releases they will tell you if it’s unstable and not to update the card. But don’t be confused with shader cache, anytime your card updates there will be stutters as the GPU reloads the cache, within a day you’ll be back to stable frames. My only concern with this card any DX11 applications specifically FN performance mode. AMD has stability fix for 6000 series card, just google, but 7000 series you can’t do the workaround to fix microstutters on DX11 apps or FN performance mode, I tested it recently and got less than 5% microstutters which looks like 5 events during a nights gaming session online. For some it’s negligible, but for others it’s an eyesore for a 20GB current gen card. I’d say this card is great for high res or 1080p gaming, you’ll get some of the current graphics features in games like Ray-tracing, only downside is DX11 stability and driver updates. Will fit in a NR200 mini itx case.

I have been impressed with the performance of this card. The price on this card was perfect for my budget and was much better than what I would have paid for the same performance on the Nvidia line. Getting the card installed and working was as basic as any video card, and it works fine with Windows 11 PRO. The software has a steeper learning curve than the competition. It's also not as intuitive to work with, and you will need to watch some videos to understand how the features work.

This gpu can run the latest games at 4k and 1440p and it's been a blast ever since I picked one up. I can play Fortnite at 4k with over 144fps and Marvels Spider Man Remastered at 1440p high settings with smooth high fps. If your looking for a high end gpu that's excellent for the price i definitely recommend this.
