What is the outdoor temperature rating for these?
Not sure what they are rated for. I live in Indiana, so the winters will get down below freezing and the summers will have heat indexes above 100. I leave these out all year long. Granted I have them under my overhang by my pool so they don't get direct "weather", but they are exposed to the temperatures I mentioned. I have not had any problem with these speakers since I installed them a couple years back.

Do they have to be pluged in for out door use?
Not to power but they do need to be wired to sound system with speaker wire.

Can these speakers get wet
We have them in our back yard. One of them hangs under some branches and the other one on the side of my tool shed. We have received some pretty heavy rains and they still sound good.
