Upgraded my previous Yamaha subwoofer. Simple set up. Works exactly as advertised. Only issue is it did not come with a chord to connect to the receiver. Had to go back to Best Buy to purchase. Cost for a 6-foot chord was only $10, which questions why not include it with the subwoofer.

Treat this as a direct replacement for your home Yamaha sub. Gets the job done. Mine had quit working completely and this was all that I needed. You get what you pay for and if I wanted a louder sub I would have ordered a more expensive one. This does just fine for me

Great sound and really fills out the room. A bit bigger than I had expected in this day and age of microscopic components, so make sure you have the room for it. No regrets, good quality, fair price and great sound.
