Besides particularly cruel bullying in high school, North Dublin teenager Char (Hazel Doupe) was regularly confronted with the depressive behavior of her infirm mother Angela (Carolyn Bracken). One morning, however, Angela abruptly vanished... only to return days later. Her oddly improved demeanor, was accompanied by increasingly bizarre behavior-leaving Char to try and suss out the unholy reasons why.
